It sounds like Ugly Heart, but it also sounds like that Hailee Stanfeld (sp?) song.

Copping this from the LM thread, these are the official registrations for the album found so far. We also know Jesy's fiance Jake Roche (Rixton) wrote on an album track.

I'll keep it behind a spoilers tag because I know it takes up a lot of the page lol...

Glory Days registrations thus far:

Spoiler
Robert/Sam Gerongco aka Kuya Productions. Their most recent work was with Alessia Cara. Kuya Productions is a multi-platinum Grammy-nominated Canadian hip hop, R&B and pop production duo from Toronto

How do Little Mix maintain that status? If their new album is anything to go by it’s by pouring their emotions into gargantuan pop songs that sparkle and snap in all the right places. Effervescent lead single ‘Shout Out To My Ex‘ is a knowing, yet perfectly pitched, kiss-off that turns their experience of heartbreak into pure pop gold with a chorus that could crush buildings. ‘FU‘ and ‘Nobody Like You‘, meanwhile, continue their trend for vocally magnificent ballads, with the latter plucking on the heartstrings like a harp. Then there’s ‘Touch‘, a throbbing, thoroughly modern-sounding dance goliath that quite literally pulsates.

So Touch could be the sequel to Move, whilst Nobody Like You could potentially be their Secret Love Song for the next era.

FU? I wonder what that could possibly stand for. I reckon it stands for Fluffy Unicorns. Yeah, I'll go with that!!!

Fans are thinking that's the song intended for the US push when they come over for Ariana Grande's tour in Feb.

Meanwhile SOTME is taking off somewhat or at least gaining more interest.

Little Mix new single #ShoutOutToMyEx has been added to @Spotify's biggest playlist Today's Top Hits (11 M followers)!
https://twitter.com/BrasilLM/status/789610280036827140

I dont do Spotify but I understand this is the big playlist advertised in North America which heavily influences song performance.

The first 24 hours logged 3.7 million views for the video! Thats over twice what Hair got as the previous fastest rate. Fingers crossed the interest sustains.

Shout Out To My Ex is now #1 on UK's Spotify chart clocking up 490k in streams yesterday ahead of Say You Won't Let Go which clocked up 459k in second place.

Now Little Mix are #1, it's all for the taking and SOTME should increase its daily streams over the weekend. Let's see if the single can get close to 600k streams a day.

I just realized something crazy.

21 Kaiser Chiefs 3,224
25 Seasick Steve 2,916
28 Beth Hart 2,732
32 Alter Bridge 2,414
30 Little Mix Get Weird
33 David Teie 2,232
34 Dr. John Cooper Clarke/ Hugh Cornwell 2,231
36 Hillsong Worship 2,158 ??
37 Norah Jones 2,158 ??
38 The Game 2,111

The way GW is performing, LM will have 2 albums charting simultaneously. This is the first time in their careers that will happen. In fact its possible both will be Top 40. And they wont be dead.

It would be great to have two albums in the top 40 together.

What I really find funny about that section of the chart you quoted is that the three artists I have actually seen live are John Cooper Clarke, Hugh Cornwell (with The Stranglers) in 1978 and Little Mix in 2016. Catholic tastes.

This usually happens when an artist releases their new album and the previous album gets a nice little boost in addition.

When Glory Days is released there is a good chance that sales of Get Weird will also get a boost too. It just emphasises just how popular Little Mix are right now.

Well I dont recall it happening with DNA/Salute or Salute/Get Weird, or did it? And they certainly havent had their previous album already charting as the new one is released.

Onto a more musical thought. I love all the girls' adlibs in the studio version but I'm hoping Leigh Anne can lower hers because on record its really high and I'm not sure anyone can hit that live. They are performing tomorrow on Teen Awards so I'm curious to hear.

Oh and at 48 hours their video has 8,574,473 views! Their fastest yet.

Done some searching and found this.

http://www.officialcharts.com/artist/7217/little-mix/

It does provide all details about chart runs, so for DNA (album) it re-entered the album chart at #71 the week before Salute was released. DNA never climbed higher than #71 after that particular week. DNA was last seen in the top 100 album chart on the first week of 2014.

Salute's last week (to date) in the top 100 album chart was on the 23-08-14. The album didn't appear anywhere when Get Weird was released.

Get Weird has spent 50 weeks so far inside the top 50 album chart without ever dropping below #50 - this was just a fortnight ago but the album has recovered going 50-37-30 in the last 3 weeks.

So to conclude, DNA got a small boost in sales when Salute was released. However, Salute didn't seem to benefit at all when Get Weird was released.

Ha and I have that bookmarked too. I shouldnt be so lazy next time.

The funny thing is Salute the album didnt get a boost, yet I constantly see Salute the song higher on iTunes than any song from that album. Move sometimes shows up but Salute has almost never left the iTunes 1500. The OCC just refuses to update its sales, so I'm curious.

On yet another musical note, everyone says there's a banjo during Jesy's verses yet all I hear is a guitar. I hear nothing like a distinctive banjo sound.

Streaming used to be LM's weakness but they're slaying that dragon. Plus they sold more last night because of XF related ads.

UK Spotify

1 Shout Out to My Ex by Little Mix 520,896 (+30k)
2 Say You Won't Let Go by James Arthur 469,350

The video is at 10.1 million views too.

SOTME is gonna be huge for Little Mix. Probably bigger than Black Magic in the long term.

Potentially looking at 3 weeks minimum at #1. With songs being released OA/OS, you never really know when the next #1 is gonna strike until it's on Spotify and rockets up to #1 there.

Yes, there is a banjo. It comes in on the line "cos now I'm living so legit" and it has a high melody that plays over the main guitar riff.

So what happened with Meghan Trainor? Were they only writing together and not recording a track together.

Nonetheless, intrigued in hearing these other tracks. I wonder which of those songs will be chosen as singles over the next 8 months.

I dont think they ever said once they said it that Meghan was anything more than a writer. Touch looks like its destined to be the US single since it has the acoustic version already.

Jake Roche (Rixton) wrote Freak. We're finding a bunch of registrations. A lot of them are Purcell/Electric songs. Some of the registrations look like the songs were from the scrapped LM3 album by the registration numbers being older than the GW album songs.

I still think the mystery female collab may still be intended for a future single release. In recent interviews they were still hinting about something unannounced.

Anyone else find it odd that the album is called Glory Days and Britney's album was called Glory. And they have a song on it called Private Show and Britney had a song on her album called Private Show ????

^^ They even have a song called "Oops".

This came out on Columbia's radio flyer in the US. Looks like they will try to push it a little.

Also Drake just dropped new music so we'll see if LM can keep that #1 this week. He's huge on streaming.

Wow!

1 Little Mix - Shout Out to My Ex (48,111)
2 James Arthur - Say You Won't Let Go (27,894)
3 The Chainsmokers feat. Halsey - Closer (18,345)
4 The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk - Starboy (17,736)
5 Hailee Steinfeld & Grey feat. Zedd - Starving (15,867)

If the chart week had been the old Sunday to Saturday they would have tallied 125k.

So Little Mix looking great for clearing 100k this week then.

In comparison, a week ago Little Mix sold 10k in 5 hours and James Arthur had sold 35k in 3 days (Friday to Sunday). James ended the week on 92k so with Little Mix such a big lead on iTunes and #1 on Spotify and Apple Music we could be looking at 120k possibly this week.

Their sales are slowing. Now its only 11k pure sales a day.

Drake is only selling 12% of them too, I thought he was going to shoot to the top like he has in the US but he seems to be underwhelming in the UK.

The video just hit 15 million views too.
