Their sales are slowing. Now its only 11k pure sales a day.

Drake is only selling 12% of them too, I thought he was going to shoot to the top like he has in the US but he seems to be underwhelming in the UK.

The video just hit 15 million views too.
The video reminds me of the Sugarbabes a little, some of the styling I think.

SOTME appears on the Billboard Bubbling Under chart at #4 which is essentially #104 only having 4 days in the chart week and zero radio play in the US.

Its #17 on Global Spotify too!

In the UK its still outselling the nearest song 2.3 : 1 after a week. This thing is a monster.

Its pure sales were always going to slow down after the first week with its excellently executed release strategy.

However, now SOTME can stabilise over the coming weeks. The single is still selling more than double what James Arthur is selling, and Little Mix remain #1 on Spotify.

Also worth noting that when Glory Days is released, people may cherry pick the single off the album so - unless the record company decide to delete the single - Little Mix may well benefit from having the single and the ability to cherry pick the song off the album. Unless the record company request SOTME remains album only on iTunes.

Furthermore, there's also the upcoming release of Now That's What I Call Music 95 which will surely feature SOTME on the tracklist. Now Music posted this on their Facebook book.

https://www.facebook.com/nowmusic/ph...type=3&theater

So I'll be surprised if Little Mix aren't on the album. My point being, if people can also cberry pick the song off the album on iTunes then SOTME could potentially have the single, the album track and the Now! album track all selling individually so it'll be interesting to see what boost Little Mix get when these are released.

That was the situation with Black Magic too, with NOW buoying the song up at the time. Its good for NOW because with streaming the new #1 supply was on fumes.

Radio 2 just B listed the song, so I think that's all the majors just like Black Magic?

LM also confirmed an XF Australia performance, probably the next weekend because the DJ Smallzy said they would be over within 2 weeks. They usually do album promo over there.

Its slightly awkward because Iggy Azalea is on that panel and famously went on her Twitter to dismiss LM's writing credit on Pretty Girls.

Little Mix have already had some great success in Australia so this new era could have even greater success.

I can see SOTME going top 5 this week in Australia. I don't know how big X Factor Australia is but an appearance on there could potentially boost their single even more. I know The Voice Australia tends to have a massive impact on sales for most guest performers songs.

LM performed the song on a Belgian talk show
https://youtube.com/watch?v=axE909gB1lI
and it went from the 30s on iTunes to #3 currently. So it gets a response abroad.

Our new track #YouGottaNot from #GloryDays is all yours🎶…Hope you guys love it! http://smarturl.it/GloryDaysDXiT http://smarturl.it/YGNstfy the girls x

This is the one Meghan Trainor wrote, and I hear its VERY Trainor. That means some hate it and some love it. I dont know because I didnt buy the album thru iTunes as I prefer the physical.

Little Mix's fourth No.1, Shout Out To My Ex, moves further ahead at the top of the singles chart, with sales of 111,816 (including 50,357 from streams) - the highest for any track since Drake's One Dance sold 123,519 copies 24 weeks ago on its fifth week at No.1 - giving it a significant 49.20% lead over James Arthur's Say You Won't Let Go (2-2, 74,945 sales).

It is, of course, the first full week of sales for Shout Out To My Ex which topped the chart last week less than five days after release. It is the seventh single in a row to spend more than one week at No.1 - a run that extends back to February. It is the longest sequence of No.1 hits to spend more than a week at No.1 since 1994/95 when eight straight No.1 hits turned the trick, starting with Manchester United FC's Come On You Reds in May 1994 and ending with Celine Dion's Think Twice in March 1995.

OVERALL UNITS SALES STREAMING POINTS

1 Little Mix 111,816 61,459 50,357
2 James Arthur 74,945
3 The Chainsmokers feat. Halsey 53,562
4 The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk 51,339
5 Hailee Steinfeld & Grey feat. Zedd 38,710 ??
6 NEIKED feat. Dyo 38,710 ??
7 Clean Bandit feat. Sean Paul & Anne Marie 37,948
8 Sia feat. Kendrick Lamar 36,669
9 Ariana Grande feat. Nicki Minaj 35,962
10 Calvin Harris 35,101

Albums

25 Melanie C 4,084
26 Tom Chaplin 3,903
28 Little Mix Get Weird
30 Agnes Obel 3,540
36 Rebecca Ferguson 2,825

Huge streaming for LM! Quite a surge in sales for Get Weird too, up from the 2000s. BTW next week will be its 52nd week in the charts, and it looks like it will still be Top 40.

I've noticed Little Mix's lead on Spotify seems to have started to decrease and yesterday James Arthur was 11k behind, not streaming figures fluctuate so SOTME could be near 500k tomorrow.

The instant grat You Gotta Not is also available to stream on Spotify and is included in the New Music playlist. Will be interesting to see how well the song does on streaming.

Surely Meghan Trainor is one of the worst things to happen to pop music ever? You Gotta Not is arguably one of the worst things Little Mix have ever put their name to. I'm a big fan but really it's terrible. The awful lyrics, the beat that sounds identical to every other terrible Trainor song... and then to top it all off they're singing like her as well.

Someone referred this Spotify tracking site and its really helpful. You can look by song, country, daily/weekly etc.
http://www.spotontrack.com/track/sho...-my-ex/3196136

I noticed the slowdown in streams, but globally the song is right up there and they even increased streams in Germany.

I honestly had no idea Trainor was so polarizing to people. I've seen comments about hating the track, and I've seen comments about loving it too. It makes me wonder if Trainor had been under a pseudonym if the song would have gotten as much vitriol as it has.

Whether it is a collaboration with Ms Trainor or not, 'You Gotta Not' is an ok album track at best.

I also don't get why anyone thinks a collaboration with another artist like this is going to necessarily result in anything great. Meghan Trainor is going to keep her best tunes for herself.

Meghan Trainor is harmless. People mainly use her weight against her. Because she doesn't dare to be skinny like everyone else.

Little Mix are still comfortable ahead of James Arthur on iTunes although James has now reclaimed the #1 on Spotify although their daily streams were really close yesterday.

However, I found it quite surprising to see the daily #1 on Spotify getting less than 400k streams as the vast majority of the year, the #1 each day has been over 400k.

Right now, I can see Little Mix getting a comfortable third week at #1 but the week after, it could be James Arthur returning to #1 officially. Unless a massive new song gets released this coming Friday.

I have a feeling Halloween parties over the weekend may have had something to do with that lower streaming. I checked the global charting songs and everyone took a hit, even if they climbed in position. That tells me the entire field went down. We'll see I guess as the week goes along.

JA is still declining on sales, so I'm not sure if this week is due to his album burst or not. I found it more interesting that Clean Bandit and Bruno failed to get anywhere near SOTME.

I think Bruno Mars and Clean Bandit only days away from breaking into the top 10.

In fact, the way Rockabye has continued to grow on iTunes, maybe it'll be Clean Bandit who climb to #1 in a couple of weeks time.

Have to admit though, considering how brilliantly SOTME did in its first week, I really thought they would easily get 4 weeks at #1 at the most. Of course, that could still happen as Spotify is unpredictable at times. Slow, but unpredictable!!!

1 Say You Won't Let Go by James Arthur 402,373
2 Shout Out to My Ex by Little Mix 388,050
12 Rockabye (feat. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie) by Clean Bandit 244,194

Clean Bandit will probably overtake on iTunes, but unless they have a meteoric rise in streaming like LM had, they will still be way behind at least for part of the weekend.

I wanted to point out how wonderfully SOTME is doing on Spotify's Global streaming. Its been #17-#20 for most of its life so far. (the green line)
http://imgur.com/a/NWZe1

The UK would be 25% of those streams, but the rest are from around the world.

Tuesday update

1 Little Mix - Shout Out to My Ex (43.1k)
2 James Arthur - Say You Won't Let Go (33.4k)
3 Clean Bandit feat. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie - Rockabye (26.3k)
4 The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk - Starboy (22.8k)
5 The Chainsmokers feat. Halsey - Closer (22.2k)

6-10
6 Bruno Mars - 24K Magic (8 copies behind)
10 Drake - Fake Love

11-20
13 Maroon 5 feat. Kendrick Lamar - Don't Wanna Know
18 Jonas Blue feat. RAYE - By Your Side *
19 Louisa Johnson - So Good *
20 Galantis & Hook N Sling - Love On Me

LM opened the lead to 10k from 8k yesterday.
