Lots of celebs know each other before they go into the house or know of each orther,some of them may have worked together,no big deal,when they are in the house together friendships can change,for better or for worse

I think that they all go around in the same general scene, they are bound to have met each other.
A bit like all the soap actors from different shows, they all go to the soap awards, socialise afterwards, go to the same envelope openings, charity do's, etc.
The same with the people from 'reality' TV - they all are invited to the same things, go to the same things, try to get onto the same shows. They would have met, even if they don't know each other in the sense that they hang out and go to each others houses
People who work in the same industry know each other, because those industries are pretty small in the grand scheme of things.

Those particular two were in a magazine together and there were hints about them going out .Then Marnie revealed she was bisexual!They certainly knew each other.
