Damn I've just realised I had the chance to change Aaron's name in the thread title to 'Aaron Sugden' and didn't!

(Just incase something happens while we're still on this part though... obviously )

I think that is putting it very mildly!. I don't think either Aaron or Robert would be the marrying kind, unless 7 p.m. on ITV really does become Emmeroaks! . Even on Kirkwood's Folly, marriage, gay or straight, usually means misery rather than happiness.

Going back to the end of the last thread, as DS is owned by Hearst, who produce many magazines, I had better be careful not to name names of individual publications, but a friend of mine works for W.H. You Know Who, found in most high streets and railway stations. A couple of years ago they pruned the entire range of printed magazines (perhaps in part because of electronic media) because sales had decreased. This meant a large selection of "hobby" magazines completely disappeared from their shelves. Publications these days tend to be more expensive part-works (for the last 83 weeks for example you can buy a magazine to make your own 3D Printer for £6.99 a week with a part - sometimes a large bulky part) thrown in. I order this for one customer. We just wouldn't have the room to stock even one more copy on spec. Computer magazines have contracted, but lifestyle magazines have increased considerably - living in the country, building your own home etc etc. Interestingly it is the TV spin-offs, some of them quite obscure, which seem to have increased sales, while more traditional areas are on the decline (weekly gardening magazines we now only supply to order). This is the age of the niche interest.

A few customers who used to buy the TV listings no longer do, and this was summed up well by one customer who said that you know what is on every day, it never changes and she doesnt watch weekend TV because it's all sport or rubbish.

People are more careful with money these days, and even one of the red tops which enjoyed a surge when it sold for 20p a day has experienced a slump again now it has risen in price by 15p a day.

I see these things for nothing, but would I pay between 52p and £2.99 to read that tomorrow in Emmerdale, silly little April is going to lock somebody in a cupboard?. In a word - no!

I was just watching Waterloo Road and I noticed Marc Silcock (Jackson) was in the ep. He had a small role with just a few lines but his character was called Anthony Sugden. Sugden. What a coincidence!

I think he is a very good, but very unlucky actor. He never gets promising roles. He did a 5 part series a year or two ago on BBC1 which was meant to be developed into a series, but nothing came of it - mind you, as it aired at 2.15 Mondays-Fridays, I don't suppose it got the right sized audience, or the target audience for it.

I would much rather they had kept Jackson - even if not with Aaron - than some of the pointless, stale wastes of space they have kept (no I won't name anybody)

Part 9.. just in time for a great week

I'm super excited for what this week brings especially with the embargoed spoilers.. never kno quite what to expect.

I've just caught up with Fridays ep.. Chrissie's new bitch act is funny lol, no disrespect to Louise but it's just too OTT for my liking & ED are having her look like an ancient egyptian woman with that hair & make up looking at a bitch character like Charity & looking at Chrissie it's just not convincing. I also feel like Andy's exist is been a little down played too.. is this about Andy? Or more about Chrissie?

Ive read all this week apart from Friday.. I don't think Aaron is mentioned as much as Robert in the spoilers or the embargoed stuff but it's very likely we'll see him I've been told.
