Just a thought from the other night: There seems to be something in the village water that turns young men older very early. Kirin was supposed to 17 but looked more like 27, now we have Lachlan, 16, looking and acting like a 25 year old. Where would he have got the money to fly off to exotic places - or even as far as Bradford airport?

Surely Robron wont have one too? Maybe it goes off the edge of a quarry because Lachlan has stolen one of Lawrence's cars again and he rams them off the road or something?

As it was my comment, you can reply to me, I never said their affair was raunchy. My definition of raunchy is clearly different than yours. If you read my entire post, the comment was said in the context of a bit about Charity. When I think of Robron, raunchy is not a word that even comes to mind, affair not withstanding. For me, it defines Charity and even then not in a bad way. That is Charity.

The only part of your post that i picked up on was the OOC bit actually because it's a popular opinion amongst people, my post wasn't a reply to your post, it was a general post, hence why i didn't quote you. I said the affair was raunchy....they had sex in the back of a car, we saw aaron do his belt up, we saw them climb on top of each other in a barn, we saw them snog eachothers face of, we saw them in a hotel with Robert in his pants, we saw Robert tickle Aaron's ear and climb on him in the lodge, we saw them take eachothers clothes off in the poratcabin....it was a raunchy soap affair. That is what it was. They were that way. They were characters who did that. Yet now people seem to think in general that anything other than arm taps and a few pecks on the lips would be OOC for them? That was my point of the post.

Not me either. Robert was definitely talking to Aaron as his boyfriend last night. He doesn't use that soft tone of voice for anyone else.

I disagree to an extent. I think we just view this differently. I think the major complaint from most fans is the opposite of what you are saying. Yes, Robron had a passionate affair and now, we the viewers are getting lame arm taps from a couple who used do it in the back of a car (yes please!). Arm tapping behavior is OOC as we have seen Robron on screen be very affectionate with one another.

You are understanding what i'm saying yes. The thing is that there that some fans that are rebuffing the idea that what we are getting now isn't enough by saying anything more would be OOC for them. So i'm asking how it can possibly be OOC for them when we've been shown them being far more physical and close before than we are even asking them to currently be? (if that makes sense?)

I agree. I know them being caught in the shower together and going to have sex but being interrupted again were plot points for Aaron to ask Robert about getting their own place but that is what I imagined them to be like when they became a proper couple. I know Aaron isn't really into PDA but he doesn't seem to mind Robert touching him (and he didn't mind Robert grabbing him by the waist and kissing him in front of Charity either) so I thought they'd be a little more touchy feely. Basically a lot more like how they were like in the shower ep.

And actually i'm not setting myself apart from that POV. I think of situations now that i think "nah, they wouldn't do that" "nah, they wouldn't show that" "nah, i can't imagine Aaron being open to that" "nah, i can't imagine Robert doing that" when we've seen them do that kind of stuff before or even more than that before. It's like somehow over the course of the past few months we've been conditioned to completely see them differently and expect less from the to the point we don't think anything other than tiny tame things would seem right.

Also i tell you one scene that stands out to me, that features nothing really sexual at all. The home farm ep. Them snuggled up on the sofa. Wasn't that supposed to be how they would be if they were properly together and able to be with each other? Yet have we actually seen anything like it since they have been together?

So then, would you think it completely unlikely if i suggested i hoped there would be a similar scene in tonights episode for example and would you see it as OOC for them?
