With Robron being pretty quite over the summer leading up to this big storyline in October, well its got me thinking could this be a theme for Robron in the future.

Maybe they will have one major storyline and rest of the year pretty quiet?

I guess it will be pretty tough for the scriptwriters to keep coming up with stuff for them storyline wise after October.

Chrissie's not going anywhere though is she? I've heard nothing to suggest that Louise is leaving in Oct. If she wins round 1 of the Robron White war far from being tough to figure out stuff for them to do I think it would be really easy. Robert and Aaron would be even more determined to get revenge on the Whites.

Hey guys, it's been a while!!

All this stuff on Twitter etc about Danny leaving whether it's for a year or for good has got me a bit worried to be fair... I'm trying to stay positive and convince myself that it's only rumours but there's still that little bit of doubt. Plus I'm on holiday that week so I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing that I won't see the stunt until two weeks after everyone else.... I don't think I could take watching ED without Danny again and I can't bear heartbroken Robert......

Meh. I don't know what to feel at the moment

I'm not either. Why have we decided Danny is leaving?

It is all started on friday night and now It is getting out of control. Sorry but i won't believe anything unless Danny himself says It. Others saying something is not enough for me. This is totally gossip 101 and i don't buy It. Never Will.

This kool-aid i won't drink.

Just out of curiosity do you not get paid out accrued Annual leave that you haven't taken when you leave employment in the UK?

Yes when sleeping like a baby .

There's a loads of stuff for them to do. Pretty much anything other couples can have they can have and then a whole lot more too as ED haven't had various male/male relationship stories before.

So anyway thinking about it Duncan Fosters tweet to Danny about the real work starting now must have been about the stuff filmed the past week, we were all thinking they'd filmed the stunt already at that point but im guessing not.

Me either (am now even more convinced that this whole thing is a deliberate ploy to get everyone into a whirling dervish frenzy before October week and to misquote good old Brucie 'aren't they doing well'!!! )

I think it might depend on who you work for - the NHS and (I believe) other public service organisations don't (its a use it or lose it gig) but other places might be different

Thanks for answering! That's terrible! In NZ we get a minimum of 4 weeks (pro rata) and once its accrued it cannot expire and must be paid out at end of employment. Now I understand why some are panicking about the leave taken etc. Although I think its all a big misunderstanding (well I hope anyway )

Its like I accumulated over 150+ hours in annual leave and a got it paid to me in drips and drabs (family business, not been working since feb just finished getting paid a few weeks ago as I think it kept on accumulating lol)

I do hope there is more thought put into the aftermath of this stunt than what we got with the helicopter crash. It was if everything was specifically geared for that then it just went back to normal the following week. I want it to be part of some longterm planning in the storylines and not a blip just for a SuperSoap October hyped week.

I'm hoping last year's lack of aftermath was down to them moving the whole events forward (and even shooting some scenes just three weeks before transmission apparently) whereas this year they've known it's going to be October for months.

The summer fire (which I thought itself was quite poor but still) has had quite significant consequences for those involved even though it was on a smaller scale but hopefully the upcoming stuff will be good!

I think the stunt back in June though not as big in scale had a pretty decent aftermath and you can see the storylines that were triggered by it still playing out (from Nicola/Dan and now moving onto Priya's replase) so hopefully, fingers crossed, that is a sign IM is better at aftermaths than KO. Because that was were Kate really let herself and the show down.

Kate was not good at aftermaths at all and characters would vanish for weeks afterwards with very little mention from other characters over what had happened. This will be the first big test for the new Producer so let's hope for better things.
