So do I. If he doesn't get a great new role I think he'll be back. It seems like it was left open ended because its what Kelvin wanted.
Well good luck to Kelvin trying other stuff, Danny did & came back to ED.

I have a feeling that Bernice will also be Roberts Ali in this. We know that Lawrence signs the salon back to her ( he probably thinks they can get back together now Andy has gone and no risk) or she try's to get back in with him playing like she knows nothing and will help Robert by maybe snooping/getting close to Chrissie and in the meanwhile taking Lawrence for every penny!
I want Robron to bring that b!*ch down
Bernice will definitely play dirty from now on. I'm looking forward to Robert/Bernice and maybe Aaron scenes. You don't see Bernice with either of them too often. Gobby might get her pony club membership back after all depending on how badly Bernice screws the Whites .

Hugh Jass will enjoy that .

I bet Chrissie starts to get close to Vic, esp when you look at the scenes tonight.
I'm guessing Robert keeps Vic in the dark initially so the Whites wont suspect anything.

It's a shame to see the Sugdens down to barebones again though .

Him keeping vic in the dark makes no sense at this point especially if she would be in danger, although I agree it's probably what will happen

Of course it makes sense for the reason I said. If Robert is trying to get evidence to clear Andy, the fewer people who know his plan the better, otherwise the Whites will be on guard against him.

I love Vic but she's not the type of person you'd want to let in on a plan like this as she struggles to keep her emotions in check and would flip out at Chrissie. Vic wont be in danger yet because Chrissie isn't suspecting anything.

I love the way Aaron was talking to Robert, he was totally worried about him getting involved and when Robert told him that he owned him Aaron was like no way

He was like Andy can spend the rest of his life in jail but you Robert, there is no way you going to jail for him

Well that's what the impression i got

That would be totally unrealistic. You really do seem to have a problem with children. You should be rather careful though as it's bordering on hatred and some could take that badly. If we were to talk about sexuality in that way,or age,or race/religion then it would bd seen as discrimination.Your words are very strong and it's rather uncomfortable (well for me anyway)
If you will allow me to say so, I think you are somewhat taking my personal opinion way too seriously. I don't "hate" children. I don't "hate" anybody, but I do dislike the amount of screentime wasted on people (of all ages) who can't act very well at all. There is a limited amount of time (apart from bloated Tuesdays) and April, David & co last night wasted some of those 22 minutes.

I would respectfully suggest that if my comments disturb you in any way, then it would be better if you didn't read them and upset yourself unduly.

I totally agree Andy. I feel the exact same. We are talking about fictious kids on soaps and our opinions regarding them and their lack of adding to the SL's. It is just an observation. This is make believe and in no way reflects our feelings in our day to day interactions with the younger set. For the record, before assuming the worst about me, I have a 24, 13 and 10 year old.

Discrimination? Hate? That was a big leap. If you disagree with someone else's opinion, just keep on scrollin'. I do. We don't all have to agree. That is why this thread is so fantastic.

P.S. Flippers anyone? I think Ed can afford them for April.

P.P.S. New job is killing me and I am sorry for being so behind on the comments!

Andy didn't see the funny side though, did he???

Hahaha!! Too right!!!

WOW, one minute Andy loves Chrissie & wants to run away with her & now he's cheered up seeing Bernice & says he loves her!! *rolls eyes*
Andy falls in lust too easily. To be fair though, the last scenes where Andy expresses gratitude for all Robert did for him in the last two days was good to see. Working last night so, thank God, I was able fast forward the April drivel, and the David, the girls and the jailbird scenes,so I had about 20minutes out of the hour epic. Pre-recording is a great boon when you have such wafer thin stories, but the Robert/Andy story was good, but I wish they would stop making it look so easy to evade the police: I think the Emmerdale writers must have been influenced by the film Escape Route (1952) with George Raft and Sally Grey, except that the village replaces the River Thames

Don't worry - it's one of those too, too theatrical "tributes" - Darling you were wonderful sort of things. Apparently he was the God of acting, farming and biceps. His secret is safe with me

I think this was a much better goodbye tribute than the other one.I suspect Kelvin really has left for good, Not just a temporary hiatus. If Chrissie gets away with her lies (and the fact she is with us for another year at least suggests she does), there is no way Andy could come back.

Thanks for that. I must admit I was astonished by LM's reaction. Flabbergasted!. In fact I don't ever recall my flabber being so gasted. I think you have to consider what good any character brings to a programme, whatever their age. It would be unrealistic to expect a 7 year old to bring much, and her scenes (like those of David and his girlfriends and the girls dad, and Doleful Doug) actually contribute very little to the stories at any time. The "I had no idea us two friends were related" stories are a soap staple and no retelling develops the idea. Last night really should have been about Robert/Andy/Aaron/Vic/Adam/Diane/Bernice/Chrissie/Lawrence and Lachlan, and the less said about locked cupboards, Ross and gangsters moll, Charity and hospitals the better.[/quote]

All very well and good but Andy making personal comments about the real child actresses physical appearance, by saying she will put viewers off their dinner, is something Lmack has a right to see object to. The poor child can't help loosing her baby teeth fgs. It is what happens to kids.

I don't understand how this conversation got started in the first place. Its a 7:00 pm soap, older children and younger teens are watching at that time. There will be children and teens in ED. This is never going to change. If you don't care for the scenes with children you record and fast forward or learn to tolerate their scenes.

I thought that too. It comes across as a genuine heartfelt goodbye and not contrived and choreographed like the whole cast video was. I'm not just saying that because I'm a Ryan fan!

Nobody else has commented on it, as far as I am aware, but Andy is the only one of Aaron's friends, apart from Adam, to comment on Robert and Aaron's relationship.... and Aaron - he brings out the best in you - and Robert acknowledging that. It was one of the better exits in that you could actually feel sorry for Andy, being forced to leave over something he had no hand in.

I hope Robron are in it together a bit more tonight. Looking forward to seeing Aaron support Robert and his plans. He clearly has no feeling for Andy so its really only for Robert, which is nice to see.

Interesting and well designed. Do you know the name of the "antique" typeface that you have as your main text at the top?. It looks like a sort of old-fashioned chiselled sort of lettering (and before anyone takes umbrage at me I did mean that as a compliment). I'd like to use something like that on a (non-Robron) project I am working on. Thanks
