I think we are getting ahead of ourselves

That said i think there wouldn't be much to organise....i can't see either wanting much of a fuss.
It would drive Chrissie absolutely mad to see Robert splashing out on his wedding to Aaron. It'd be worth it just for that.

Ooh I'm excited for this

Watch us all be wrong about the proposal lol.. if not a proposal then they go away on screen, there's nothing else it could be, I wonder what the funny side of things will be for that week.. fingers crossed it isn't a *David comedy type of proposal* I can't believe the big week is almost here.. doesn't seem 2 minutes since we first found out about this.

I do think we ought to keep our feet on the ground though about this, there is a good chance that it won;t be a proposal and it would be a shame for anything else to seem underwhelming because we've got into such a frenzy about a proposal.

It's very exciting although I'm just not sure yet what it will be and I'm not speculating lol as I'm not wanting to get my hopes up.I want to enjoy whatever it is so I just hope it's really good

Oh dear lots of premature excitement but lots of fun.

I think Adam would be Aaron's BMan and Vic would be Robert's BMan (she did it for Andy), we would have Daddy Paddy giving Aaron, Chas and Diane could have a who's got the biggest hat competition. I think Vic would be the organiser with Chas helping out where she can. A quiet occasions to suit their personalities.

I am awaiting my invite Kirsten, I will come elegantly dressed with very little jewellery.
Sorry, I thought everyone had got their invitations.
Here you go.

Yes whatever it is, it sounds great.. alot of talk & hype on that week so I think we will/should be happy with it.. but I guess we'll need to wait & see.

Evening all. It's great to pop in here and see such positive talk about long term commitment for our boys. I'm trying to imagine Liv as a 'cute little flower girl'! I'm really looking forward to see what happens in the next month or so. It sounds like we should all be excited.💍🍾😀

I think we're all going for Val style hats
Oh well thats the hat sorted then, dont want to be the odd one out

Paddy and Adam would fight over who got to be Aarons best man (Andy could come back to be Roberts)and Chas would take over the organisation
I might have to go for some kind of fancy fascinator instead as (seriously!) the only hat I've ever found that actually suits me is a (red glittery) cowboy (or girl in my case) style one which I'm guessing wouldn't really be appropriate???

And mum2 there is no question = it's flats each and every time (comfort comes first and you're gonna want to have some feet left after dancing the whole night away!!)

And wouldn't it be just perfect if Andy was able to come back to be Robert's best man (maybe Aaron could somehow get evidence to clear his name = the absolutely perfect wedding present for his best beloved)????

I really can't see Liv as a 'cute little flower girl' (April maybe because she is a Dingle, with Leo as an even cuter page boy) but I can really see her as a (pretending to be but actually not really*) reluctant bridesmaid - you know swearing blind that she's never going to wear a dress or have any 'stupid flowers' in her hair but secretly (although not with Vic) really getting in to it and discussing what colour dress would suit her best and how she could have her hair with Gabby and having make-up tester sessions with Bernice in the salon whilst Aaron and Robert think she's sourcing parts for her pet jeep project or buying more superglue

*because after first thinking she would hate every moment of it I remembered how pleased she was when Gabby said she'd get her a ticket to the ?pony club dance/disco thing just before burgling Vic-gate, and how she had picked some of Vic's dresses for herself too

PotD:

Emmerdale's Robert Sugden uses some classic reverse psychology against his ex-wife Chrissie White tonight (September 19) - and we can't believe that she falls for it so easily.

Robert (Ryan Hawley) is still livid with Chrissie after she successfully framed his brother Andy for Lawrence's shooting and her own stabbing - and he feels even worse when an oblivious Victoria expresses hope of striking up an ongoing business partnership with Chrissie.

Victoria has agreed to have her food van present when Chrissie (Louise Marwood) launches her adventure park, but Robert is suspicious over her intentions and doesn't want his sister to be too involved in any future projects.

Deciding that it's high time for Chrissie to get her comeuppance, Robert is intrigued when he hears about the climbing wall at the opening event - joking that it's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

As Chrissie harps on about the various safety checks, Robert is suddenly hit with a brainwave and decides that she should be the first one to try it out tomorrow.

Not wanting to show what he's up to, Robert playfully claims that Chrissie wouldn't be brave enough to do the climb in front of the waiting crowd and press.

Chrissie immediately rises to the bait by vowing to prove otherwise, setting the stage for Robert to come up with a sneaky sabotage plan. But who'll really have the last laugh here?

I'm currently in the floor cause that second gif set of caring Rob hit me right in the feels! *sigh*

Also am I invited to the wedding as well or will I spend it nose pressed against the church window? Cause I've already picked out my hat! https://bethanyjofisher.files.wordpr...011/05/bea.jpg
