Well Isobel is short and 15. Tom is 17/18. Lots of relationships have big differences in height and age.

Danny/Ryan's contracts are the ones I`m least concerned about. They bring a lot of buzz to the show and Robron fans are a huge reason why they won best soap.

Now last year I was concerned about Ryan but that was what they were doing to Robert. But thankfully they stopped writing him as a panto villain.

It's Lachlan that's looks older to be honest.. I thought it looked abit out of place when he kissed Gabby, where as Lachlan & Belle are more suited in terms of appearance. I may sound old fashioned here but I don't think it's a normal look when too kids are attracted to eachother when one looks over the legal age & the other looks under. So if Lachlan/Liv become attracted to one another then that would weird me out..

I wouldn't worry as I don't think ED will have any plans at all not to renew their contracts. They are too much of a draw for the show. I know the lady who played Val did not want to leave but the producers aren't stupid. They only way either of our boys will leave in the next few years is if one of them wanted to. I think they are both happy but if it comes to it at some point in the future I think it would be Ryan who jumped first but hopefully not for years yet.

Also I think announcements about contracts being renewed are actually all part of the PR machine. For example have we heard much about the actress who plays Lisa for example?

It was completely normal when I was in school too.. I'm meaning in terms of acting on the attraction. I was 14 when I got my first boyfriend who was nearly 3 years older & I now understand why my family had such a problem with it because I was under age & certainly looked it too, when he was over age & looked it.. it was seen as wrong by many people around me.

When I was a teenager and my daughters were teenagers a sure way to encourage a relationship was to tell us to stay away from someone. It instantly made them much more interesting. The forbidden fruit thing. So I totally understand why Liv went straight round to see Lachlan.

I don't think Ryan will leave for a while tbh and I think possibly it could be because he was out of work for so long before he was cast in Emmerdale and had to do other jobs. He might not fancy the uncertainty again but then again I could be completely wrong
