Oblivious she is plotting against her, Chrissie and Lawrence start to arrange Rebecca’s birthday
Tuesday 25th October
Rebecca begs Lachlan not to tell Chrissie about her affair with Robert. And soon Lachlan is reassured Rebecca is being genuine. Later Rebecca probes Chrissie about Lawrence, giving her a last chance to come clean about not being his daughter, but when Chrissie fails to come clean Rebecca rips up her card. Lachlan spots the ripped card and realises Rebecca isn’t as genuine as she seems. Just as Chrissie gives Rebecca her present Lachlan publicly tells his Mum she was sleeping with Robert. Chrissie and Rebecca fight and as they argue, Rebecca points out they aren’t really sisters. Chrissie alarmed the secret is out and panics for her future. Later, Chrissie fills in Lachlan on the danger to their inheritance and plots on how to defeat her sister Rebecca.
Chas asks after Moira. Charity brushes off Noah’s complaints and Cain’s stopped in his tracks when the police arrive to question him. Moira starts to defend Cain but does he already have an alibi? Liv comforts Noah about having a difficult mother. With the police gone Cain thanks Moira for sticking up for him but she tells him to hurry up and go. He realises there’s nothing between them now. Later in the backroom at the Woolpack, Cain suggests to Charity they leave for France early. Charity is surprised but pleased.
Frank offers to look after Johnny while Vanessa sees to an emergency. Soon Frank has arranged a playdate for him and Johnny with Megan and Eliza.
Wednesday 26th October:
Lawrence intercepts the DNA results in a hope to evade the inevitable but Ronnie assures him he needs to face the music. Lawrence stops his daughters fighting and hands the DNA results to Rebecca. She opens them and discovers…. Lawrence is her real Dad. Chrissie struggles to hide her jealousy. Rebecca decides she’s staying put.
As Charity packs for France Noah announces he’s going to live with Moira. Moira’s stunned when Noah bursts in and announces he’s living with her. Back at the Woolpack, Chas encourages Charity to talk to Noah and explain she and Cain need to get their home sorted before moving him. At the Woolpack, Chas hugs Cain goodbye. Noah tells Charity he never wants to see her again but Cain reassures her he’ll come around.*
Frank persuades Vanessa to let him look after Johnny for the day, not telling her it’s so he can meet Megan and Eliza.* But will Frank’s plan work?
Lisa’s excited for Belle visiting. Bailey’s concerned by her cough, however. Cain warns Bailey to be good to Belle.
Thursday 27th October:
Charity and Cain prepare to leave the village. But does Charity have some misgivings as she says goodbye to Moses. Ross is hard with her and she seems genuinely torn. Charity returns to the pub having said her goodbyes ready for her new life with Cain. Not long after the Dingles wave Cain and Charity off. On a country road they stop the car.. And Charity’s world falls apart.
Chrissie complains about Rebecca and Lawrence implores her to try with her. Meanwhile, Rebecca announces she wants to work for the business. Chrissie wants Lawrence to get rid of Rebecca but Lawrence refuses to take sides. Later, Chrissie offers to show Rebecca around the grounds, playing nice, the sisters seem to be bonding. But for how long?
Tracy returns from honeymoon and accidentally volunteers to have Frank to stay with her and David. Kerry gives Doug and Diane tickets to a talk in Leeds and persuades Bernice to throw a Halloween party in their absence. But will her plan work?
P2:
Devastated Charity’s world is in pieces as Cain refuses to leave with her. She screams at him to drive but he just can’t leave. He gets out of the car and gives her the keys telling her to say hi to Debbie. She begs him not to do this warning him he'll never see her or Debbie again, but he doesn’t turn around as he walks away. Charity is broken. She eventually drives away and Cain’s pained to see how much he’s hurt her.* Later, we see a heartbroken Charity rev the engine, with the car poised to go over the edge of a cliff...
Late, Lawrence tells Chrissie he’s made her and Rebecca co-managers of the business. Chrissie fumes and later reassures Lachlan she won’t let Rebecca win.
Joanie and Lisa are at loggerheads with causes Lisa to have a funny turn. Joanie is jealous of Zak’s attentiveness towards Lisa. Kerry plans her Halloween party still awkward around Dan.
Friday 28th October:
The police need to pull Cain’s car from the bottom of the lake..
BAD NEWS.* Zak’s surprised to see Cain back and Chas can’t believe he and Charity have split. Cain’s alarmed when the police arrive with news his car is at the bottom of a lake. He thinks Charity’s just acting up but the other fear the worst.
Bernice has Kerry doing all the dirty jobs so she can throw the party there. Kerry relishes the idea of making Dan jealous. Later Dan finds Kerry carving a pumpkin with Kyle. Amelia wants to join in and forces Dan to let her stay. She gets the pumpkin stuck on her head and he can’t help smiling. Could there be a thawing between Kerry and Dan?
Jai’s tetchy with Rakesh, who suggests relaunching Granny Clegg’s cordial with a video online. But will Priya agree?
