It was just a really well told I think. Tonights was a bit of a let down I thought. Rewatching again. I've got myself convinced now that Lachlan's not in the boot when the collision happens.

This isn't a word I use often, but last nights episode was a load of crap and I didn't even bother to watch part 2.

Could I just say to Iain McLeod and Paul Roundell, who wrote that travesty farce, that Peter Rogers and Talbot Rothwell were responsible for the original (1969) Carry On Camping, and that Betty Marsden and Terry Scott, made a much better fist of the middle aged bickering couple than Rhona and Pierce and that Sid James and Bernard Bresslaw were far better than the dilettante Paddy & Marlon (the poor mans Chuckle Brothers). As for "Knuckles" that was "OddBob" from Carry On Screaming in 1966. The CarryOns were documentaries compared to that camp rubbish of last night. It will be impossible to ever take Marlon or Paddy seriously again after their performances last night.

It was a bloody insult to the intelligence, and I won'teven bother looking at tonights recording.

I imagine Robert and/or Aaron saves Prince Lachlan from almost certain death, the police tells Lawrence and Chrissie as much, they are very grateful, refuse to believe Lachlan's kidnap story (after all truth and Lachlan parted company a long time ago) and that is why, in frustration he spills the beans about Robert and Rebecca.

Definately not.. He is brilliant. It reminds me of an old series, often repeated, Only Fools and Horses David Jason (Del Boy) got all the awards and kudos whereas Nicholas Lyndhurst (Rodney) was a very much deeper complex character. I am not comparing Aaron to Del Boy, but just pointing out that it was a partnership where one party gets slightly overlooked.

You just know that the cars will be a write-off because - just like every other TV show - they use very old cars for their stunts Ashley and Aarons are 15 and 14 years old respectively. They try to be so original but it always ends up as a budget constrained cliche'

Even the murderous little "David" in Coronation Street is going to cause mayhem with an eleven year old banger

I agree Andy. I'm not on Facebook but I do have a nosey at the Emmerdale page from time to time and Danny always (quite rightly, obviously) gets huge amounts of praise. It was nice to see some love for Ryan after Monday's episode - he really is fantastic and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves.

Morning all.
I find it very hard to believe that Aaron's car goes into the water with the two of them in the front & Lachlan in the boot.. its extremely difficult getting out a car under water (I know it's a soap but still lol) yet they'd have themselves to get out & aswell as Lachlan Aaron doesn't look like he's in a car when he's drowning either.. can't bloody wait to find out how it all happens.

Just a mention that the ring is still in the car, so there is an actual chance it can be recovered still. If it was still in his pocket then there would be no chance as it would float away, i guess depending on how badly damaged the car is the ring could still be in the car.

But if not i wonder if there was any relevance in Robert saying he bought two, so they could both have one?

I;m still more just obsessed with them getting engaged than the stunt I know they will be fine anyway (as in not dead) But the engagement is still something massive for their future so, still so invested in everything to do with that.

I still can see an xmas wedding And also i've revised my thoughts on the wedding itself, i don't think they would mind a proper ceremony now. At first i thought it would just be a no fuss thing but look at how into the marriage thing they both are, and how romantic some of their moments are. Look at how Robert set up the proposal in the barn. I think they could be happy with a more romantic ceremony that we give them credit for.

Wow Andy. You've been out buying a hat, haven't you? Agreed on an Xmas wedding. I don't actually see how the engagement can be postponed and I don't think they'll hang around with the wedding planning. Loads of people who were opposed to a engagement/wedding, now seem really keen. It could be why Faith comes back. I would love to see Robert in the middle of Dingle Xmas.

I'm looking forward to Friday night so we can digest what's happened plus there should be spoilers out for coming SL's.

Andy this is so romantic

I am with all of you, i want this engagement to happen and the wedding also.

Last night We saw a wedding band in the funeral thing, who do you think It was? Paddy doesn't wear his anymore, the hand seem strong, so maybe it's Jimmy what do you think?

And some people seem to think that Aaron is saying I love you When he is in the water. I rewatched and i think They are right.

Yeah This is Emma day

I hope the ep has made people warm to Robron a bit who weren't keen. I don't know how you couldn't root for them after the last few eps. We saw every side to a good relationship, even things that we were missing before. And how can you watch scenes like that woods scene and not fall in love with them? Or at least accept what a nice couple they are and deserve happiness. How can you watch the banter and bickering they had Monday and Thursday in the pub and not say they were entertaining to watch and a natural couple? Watch the Friday ep and say they aren't passionate enough in scenes?

I really hope that Robron get even more support after that ep, i mean obviously die hard haters won't change their mind i mean just like regular viewers who didn't really care before.

Omg he does seem to be mouthing that! I didn't notice that before...maybe it's only that i've been told he might be saying that though that i can see it?

I think we'll see a moment of it seeming Robert can't save him them.

I do love a positive Andy

Yes I definitely see a wedding around the corner.. theres no reason for it to not happen, their definitely getting married imo

It certainly does seem as tho Aaron says "I love you" I wonder what's keeping him under the water? So intriguing.. tomorrow needs to hurry the hell up.

After rewatching Monday's ep, I struggle to understand where the water comes from.. it looks like it's just fields around them

Andy, I couldn't have put it better myself . I can't begin to tell you how many times I've watched the episode and it just seems to get better and better each time I watch it 😊.

Duncan said on Twitter that they feature heavily in Thursday's and Friday's episodes and Maxine also said she wrote Friday's (21st) and then Monday's (24th) episodes so we should be in for a treat - seriously can't wait 😊

Is anyone else being tortured with those awful advertising redirects when using the forum via a mobile network (rather than wifi)? It's making the site unusable unless I'm on a wifi connection.

Andy did you take front seat on the fluffy bus?

I too did wonder if there was anything significant with him buying two rings.
