Totally agree, Andy, but sadly, some of the more matronly posters have started a thread elsewhere, hurrumphing, like retired Cheltenham Colonels over their Daily Telegraph, because - apparently, - Robert was lying and besmirching the name of his late and lamented father, by suggesting he beat Robert (of course Robert said nothing of the sort - he went out of his way to downplay his dad's wrath). Some even think Aaron lied about being raped

I haven't got the patience to reply in that thread, but do these people really believe that every parent is OK with finding out their son is gay? (or bisexual - their emphasis would be on the same sex aspect). If that were true, it should have been a doddle for me with two health professional parents. There was no violence, but plenty of threats and emotional blackmail, and a final notice to quit at the end.

As I said yesterday not every dad is a "Mick Carter" (more's the pity), but these posters seem to have a complete down on Robron. One even wished Aaron dead!. Compare the quality of Monday's episode with that boring farrago last night

I'm quite shocked that so many fans still believe Robron will come out of this unharmed

There's 4 SLs involved.. we know James dies so that's the Bartons affected.. Ashley will cause it so that's the Thomas's affected.. someone out of Rhona, Paddy & Pierce will be fighting for there life's & I think it will be Rhona so that's there group affected.. but Robron come out unharmed? So basically there whole involvement in the stunt would be just pointless. I don't believe there will be anything longterm but one of them (probably Aaron) will be harmed.

We know they don't die so I wish fans would calm down lol.

I love the pieces of music it all adds to what is happening.

Remember the scene featuring Val, Eric and Amy giving little Kyle away at Christmas and they had Eva Cassidy Somewhere over the Rainbow playing in the background. I personally was in floods that night it was so emotional.

Where has Eric been lately. He is my favourite character along with Ashley and Aaron

The problem is Amy, when you are talking about high budget stunts (and the fact that filming seriously overran in this instance) they often film more than one ending (I know in the case of "P.C. Luke Ashton" in The Bill, some years ago, when he left the show for the second and final time, and generated quite a bit of publicity), they had Scott Neal film two endings, one where he lived, and one where he was shot and died (he lived, thank goodness!), and they just wrote additional dialogue for the phony ending, but at the time of recording none of those taking part knew which would be used.

This might be the case here. I think they would be mad to kill Robert or Aaron, but they were mad to go with that ridiculous man/child Paddy & Marlon tosh last night.

Oh Andy I love you when your positive, I agree ED could now really make this a big story leading to something really nice at Christmas.

I loved the Monday episode, Maxine did an amazing job of answering lots of questions that have been hanging around for a while like;-

How can Robert suddenly be in to men - we now know he always has been.
Why the womanising and behaviour - trying to prove something to his Dad and himself, i think the being caught by Jack affected him massively and left him very insecure.
Is Aaron now worried about Robert being Bi - Yes he was and hopefully thats be clarified and Aaron now has to accept Robert's fidelity.

Loads more I know but they are a lovely couple of ordinary blokes in love, ED can make this story arc AMAZING.

Did you notice Aaron saying a swear word under his breath when he realised he put his foot in it with Robert after the "at least you said it" pull over moment

of course they will be affected as I heard their car ends up in a river hence the underwater scenes. Can't see James being the one to die too obvious as he is rumoured to be leaving and apparently it is a shock death. I think Rhona will die possibly with Pierce causing Paddy to crash into him but Pierce wanting to get rid of Paddy not realising it is Rhona who he is going to end up killing. Could be all wrong. Didn't realise the Bartons could end up in this too as Rhona called one of them for a taxi back home.

Didn't even notice that part need to pay more attention to these scenes.

I think I read you see the hand of someone pouring soil over the coffin tonight. Will watch carefully then.

Have to say going by the pictures for next week Marlon does look very sad

Funnily enough my laptop keeps redirecting to an ad site on Tumblr and sometimes on here. I thought I must have adware on my laptop but I can't find it.

But if not i wonder if there was any relevance in Robert saying he bought two, so they could both have one?

I;m still more just obsessed with them getting engaged than the stunt I know they will be fine anyway (as in not dead) But the engagement is still something massive for their future so, still so invested in everything to do with that.

I still can see an xmas wedding And also i've revised my thoughts on the wedding itself, i don't think they would mind a proper ceremony now. At first i thought it would just be a no fuss thing but look at how into the marriage thing they both are, and how romantic some of their moments are. Look at how Robert set up the proposal in the barn. I think they could be happy with a more romantic ceremony that we give them credit for.”

Love this positvity I also want a Christmas Wedding I aggree also that after what we saw withbthe barn etc that they probably wouldnt be bothered about a bit of fuss

There's complaints on Twitter about Tumblr redirecting in the last few days. Just glad it might not be my computer as it's only a few months old.

Thanks, Binky. I wonder if the boot springs open after the crash and Lachlan escapes.

Small spoiler in The Sun for tonight that an empty truck could provide the means of escape for James from Emma.

Yeah I keep watching all these little things. It does look like it could be Paddy's hand, but then again it could just be another character

Do you think the funeral snippets are what we will actually see like with the real characters or are these snippets just symbolic at the moment and the funeral we see will be different ?

I dont think Aaron was that uncomfortable about Robert being Bi. Mostly confused and insecure which he has always been.

Last night We saw a wedding band in the funeral thing, who do you think It was? Paddy doesn't wear his anymore, the hand seem strong, so maybe it's Jimmy what do you think?

And some people seem to think that Aaron is saying I love you When he is in the water. I rewatched and i think They are right.

Yeah This is Emma day ”

I am just wondering if It is Paddy's hand then he may have put his ring back on for this
