It's totally weird. I thought the summer fate was a let down in terms of lack of surprise deaths but to me, even if we just get James dying, the quality of this week means I won't be bothered.

I tell you what it almost feels like, like on Monday it will revert back to where we left off last week and none of this even happened. It doesn't feel like part of Emmerdale yet, it feels like it was some separate thing. Maybe i'm making no sense

![]() The full week has been fab and I loved how they have woven the stories together and all the little touches to go with it.

Yes i've been quiet. It's been because it's almost like it been a bit too much for me to compute properly. It doesn't really feel like it's actually happened/happening. I'm finding it hard to really delve into things like i would normal episodes. I don't know, it's just weird. I mean i'm not saying it wasn't great or that it isn't amazing what's happening with Robron, it's just a lot. I can't really explain how i feel about it all.

I know what you mean.. its definitely alot to take in which is why I'll be glad to get this week & the aftermath out the way as it's giving me alot of anxiety, I'm enjoying it, it's been fab.. but between the love story we got monday with the proposal.. the crash.. then seeing the state Aaron was in.. Robert saving his life.. tonight we'll probably see Aaron/Rhona/James flatline in true soap style.. alot of Robert heartbroken.. its loads to take in.

Just past the funeral which would take at least a week as I'm sure a PM would be needed.

The thing is, with Robron we've been so used to getting excited about little things, and those things coming only really every now and again, then we might have some big moment dropped in once in a blue moon to deal with. Then all of a sudden in the a space of a few eps Robert we've had marriage talk, Robert rejecting Rebecca, Robert deciding to propose, pub toilet quickies, a whole Robron episode that featured pretty much everything we've ever wanted including Robert saying he's bi, Aaron finally saying ILY, bedroom scenes ect, a proposal (of sorts), then a massive car crash with some epic romantic underwater scenario and rescue like out of a movie or something, now Aaron fighting for his life and being rushed to hospital and it's just hard to actual take every moment in and focus on it, it's been so much a bulk of just everything we've ever practically dreamed of happening (and things we don't want, as in Aaron nearly dying lol) the space of two or three eps it's basically kind of left me almost numb.
Again i'm probably not making any sense and i'm not moaning or saying i wish none of this happened cus it's all amazing obviously, but hopefully you get kinda what i mean. |

I also agree about the summer fate disaster as I didn't much like the aftermath,or lack of and the actual disaster etc was good but I did also prefer the seige and cellar flood with Cameron-I thought that was great ! However this week has been amazing and blown me away. The scale of that stunt, like all the actors involved said, was huge and so much work gone into making it so special.Well done to all I say

Yes all that in the space of a week is alot.. it definitely was something out of a romantic film in that car.. Aaron telling Robert to go & that he loves him before slipping underwater everything has been what we've been waiting for.. I need a break lol I really do.

I wish Paddy was able to be at Aaron's side though in the hospital too, that for me personally would be something I wanted to see. However,it looks like he was in a pretty bad way.He was the only one who got no help or attention until it was almost too late.Chas will be really worried about him too if he's in serious danger

I think tonight it will feel a bit more grounded for me because you have people like Chas and Liv coming into things and of course more from Vic & Adam. It's felt like a bit of a bubble with it being so much about Robron and the pretty much two hander nature of it all.

One of the papers stated that tonight the focus is on the relatives at the hospital as they wait for news of their loved ones.
