I literally have been doing nothing else.

I guess I'm overwhelmed too and in a good way. And there's been so much fandom buzz online it's hard to keep up. I feel the same as you all. Overwhelmed, overjoyed. I couldn't be happier with this week. It's been truly epic and the Robron stuff have exceeded expectations. What's even lovelier is that the general audience seem utterly sold on Robron now. They truly are a soulmate supercouple that everyone wants to have a happy ending. I can't believe how much epic love stuff we've had.
I've noticed lol.

That car scene will forever be iconic. I can't get it out of my head tbh, it's all I've been able to think about all day.

Hello Marianne. I think there was quite a lot in Emmeroaks: Bride of Frankestein Meets The Brittas Empire to make you chuckle - with disbelief:

Most glaringly obvious was that it was October 17th in the Dales, yet the trees were in full summer green (they haven't been round here for a couple of weeks now in the South, the leaves have turned brown and most are falling). People were out in the garden taking breakfast alfresco. It must have been one of the few bridges not to have anti-suicide precautions on it, to prevent people toppling off (it appeared to be made from balsa wood). Mr Universe schoolboy Lachlan must have the powers of superman to have forced open the boot of the car with all that water pressure on it,

Although both Emma and Lachlan are raving mad, they are only mad when it suits them. if I were either character I would have wanted to die - from embarrassment.

On the credit side, excellent performances from Robert, Aaron, Ashley,Adam, Vic, Laurel, Finn, James, and the chicken walking unconcerned by Ashley

On the debit side: too many coincidences, everyone travelling on the same road on a Monday morning/afternoon (I always thought Emmerdale was a village without that many motorways, dual carriageways and deep rivers). I should have thought rescue services would have carried out their own intense searches of the wreckage, instead of relying on the word of one hammy actor. There was quite a lot of ham, but perhaps it would be kinder not to point them out - though they stood out a mile

Sad that so many 15 year old cars got trashed in the making of the programme.

I suspect it will be Rhona who doesn't survive tonight.

At last they gave Joe Gill (Finn) a chance to show he can really act well, when they can be bothered to write a few lines for him

Hiya Andy

Your bride of Frankestein comment did make me laugh!! I remember thinking she looked hust like that when watching.

I actually didn't think about the leaves on the trees, I was too riveted by the crash. LOL You do have a point though!! I really, really enjoyed the ep's myself & thought them brilliant. You do make a good point about Lachlan getting out of the boot as well. I did think how the bleep did he manage that. I also thought James should have been dead at the scene. Poor guy has been falling all over the place recently!!

I have watched the ep's again & do find them gripping. Looking forward to tonight. Am also a bit nervous & am thinking James dies!!

Hope you're having a nice day sweetie!? Only 3 hours to go to the ep now......

I just saw a gifset of when Aaron just woke up and Robert was trying to calm him down and it looks like Robert's hand is on Aaron. It's amazing the little things you miss when watching as it airs that you only see when you watch it back or in this case, when you see gifs.

That car scene incredibly romantic and terrifying at the same time. That has got to be everyone's worst nightmare trapped in a car slowly sinking in water. How ever will I get work done today.

She is a manipulative, evil old hag. that makes Chrissie seem like Pearl IMO. What better punishment that she and Lachlan take refuge in that filthy old farmhouse, so she can "look after him", just like she did Baby Ross when he was 2, and James this past week.
Hahahaha!! Tell me how you really feel Andy???

maybe abrightyz can clear something up for us before tonite's ep cos I heard they often get the flatlining thing wrong on hospital dramas is it right that the straight line on the screen and the continuous alarm doesn't actually mean that the patient has died or maybe it does

One other good point - really the redeeming feature of last night, - was to see the genuine (platonic) love Adam has for Aaron - he really thinks the world of him. Their bromance seems much more deep and real than the Paddy/Marlon version, who, I think, should and could remake Last of the Summer Wine together - see Paddy pushing Marlon down a hill in a bathtub!
I absolutely love Adam & Aaron's relationship. They really do love each other deeply & are like brothers. Actually closer than a lot of family are. Loved that scene!!

I actually could totally see Paddy pushing Marlon down a hill in a bathtub. It's totally something they would do. In their ep they even dressed in bunny suits & pretended to fart for Leo's benefit..... brought a tear to my eye...

Maybe Robert offers to be a living donor for a liver? That's the drastic action?
He could, if it's needed, but for some reason I keep thinking if Aaron needs a Living Donor it will be Liv whose the match!!

but if he has internal injuries esp liver he could be losing blood quick and it's an emergency
It actually gives me hope that Aaron will make it, if we're told his condition gets worse in hospital as in soaps it's usually someone who seems to be getting better who ends up dying suddenly!!

sorry, i'm confused lolz... the alarm i suppose is when the patient is hooked up to monitors-- the alam will go off when the vital signs is out of the normal range...

about the flatlining, what about it that hospital dramas get wrong?

Maybe someone could confirm me about it, but Pierce haven't done the right thing when he moved Rhona. There could be consequences for the person injured.

I thought that he was totally out of line when he did that last night.
