Fun fact Lucky is also the name of an soap character on GH in the states, son of iconic super couple Luke and Laura. In soap land Lucky seems like a perfectly reasonable choice of name for a child. I've never met a Lucky in RL.
Lol-it just bugs me because I can't see how lucky is short for Lachlan and they need to pronounce Lachlan correctly or it doesn't sound right

As far as Robert's change of personality goes you know I just don't care if its entirely plausible. I thought the romance stuff last week was really well done and needed. If not for that we would have a bunch of misery type storylines going in to fall and winter. The Robron wedding is a welcome relief you can over do the misery.

It's interesting that they had that little detail of Lachlan having a Scottish name so long before his dad actually appeared in the show, who was indeed Scottish. Was his dad always meant to be from Scotland or did it only occur to them when casting Donny? He was only mentioned in terms of being a wrong'un before so could've come from anywhere.

Robert & Rebecca spoilers.. just beautiful*eye roll*

Robert & Vic..

Fingers crossed for Robron.
Maybe Kirsten can tell us if Rebecca ever gives up her pursuit of Robert. I thought she was done on Monday but she still seems flirty in the Tues clip. Just give it already.

I hope they give that a rest a bit. I guess some fans are intrigued by her, but so far she seems to be a stereotypical woman who is obsessed with a man. She needs a bunch of scenes away from Robert to flesh out her character.

IA 100% going googly eyed for someone not only taken but turned you down multiple times is not a good look. But I guess this is why she works with him to take Chrissie down. Give her interaction outside her snobby family too.

Yeah its really not a good look. I know some people want there to be an affair but I don't see how it could be interesting since she is such a stereotype so far. If it was any character other than Robert I think people would find it way too much of a cliche.

I had thought he was always meant to be from Scotland. They could have picked a few nicer Scottish names for Lachlan though lol

Who wants an affair? other than the Robron haters lol. Anyway enough about Bex.

I wonder if Paddy will find out about the engagement this week. Or Diane. She doesnt get enough scenes with Robert.

I think Paddy must find out today. If that's the last big Robron episode for a while. I think they need to draw a line under the Paddy Aaron tension.

Robron haters lol its clear an affair isn't on the cards.

Maybe she just generally wants to help him bring Chrissie down.. seen as their fighting over their dad's money.. who isn't even dead yet she's really no different to Chrissie imo. It's like ED have to bring Robert into the Whites as they really have no place on the show as characters.. I'm bored of it already.. Andy isn't coming back so when does it end

It looks like Robert doesn't take the pub.. wonder who the new half owner is.

Or they might leave it open for the wedding?

Yeah we really don't see enough of Robert/Diane

Saying that I'm a little surprised how Diane seems to just have accepted that Andy has vanished into thin air I don't think I've seen her even mention Andy since he disappeared.

They definitely do need to draw a line so that it is sorted well before the wedding

That's something that has bothered me as well, quite unrealistic. These are the things that they miss out on at times which really shouldn't be

Yes, he is. ☺
I am looking forward to all the Emma stuff. She is a great character.
Yes so am I Kirsten, I think this could be a good story with Emma.

I am also looking forward to see how the White's pan out, what will Lachlan do, what will they say about Robron engagement as that could be funny, also waring sisters.

I am looking forward to Robron next steps.

I hope they add some good stories with others as well rather than some of the purile rubbish we have had, IanMcL has shown he can give us some funny/exciting work.

I think that's too late. At one point Paddy was a moral compass and would have a lot of influence. But he sat out Gordon's trial. He doesn't have another family to protect because he blew it with Rhona. Aaron is just going to do what he wants and Paddy can be there or not.

They've only been there for one day though right? Because the whole of last week was the same day?

I've just read one account on twitter going ape shit about the green mesh on the fence. It's rather sad in a depressing way that some people are that annoyed by it!
I don't want to be prolix about it, but I do feel that some of the younger "fans" really believe that Ryan and Danny are in the same sort of relationship as Aaron and Robert, and it might be that they are making inappropriate remarks when they meet them?. I know Russell Tovey gets some very, shall we say?, direct questions put to him, and I know when Scott Neal played a gay policeman in The Bill (after having made the film Beautiful Thing),although he is straight he was constantly bombarded by fans. It's hard to explain, but I do think that some people think it is OK to be totally in your face if they think you re gay, and might ask questions that they wouldn't dream of asking a straight man. We do know that some people have produced some very imaginative artwork, and made lewd remarks, which I can well imagine must get very wearing if you are not that way inclined. I don't think you would get that close on a BBC site - at least from what I have heard about Elstree where one of my customers had the - they said "pleasure" (I would say ghastly boredom) of attending a transmission of Strictly Come Dancing - they had to be there 2 hours ahead of TX, bag searching, scanning and no admittance to production areas, or photography. This lady was quite disappointed but she felt it was a whole afternoon and evening of delight.

i'm not fussed about paddy not totally approving of robert (yet) lolz coz it would be a bit boring if everybody suddenly became pro-robron i say leave some friction and just enough tension to keep it a bit more interesting and unpredictable

That is quite unbelievable about Diane being so accepting of Andy's situation.
