Emmerdale sent some flowers and a gift set for Marnie. We’ve been inundated with clothes and gifts. Her dresses fill a wardrobe already. I love picking out her dresses!
Q: Was it a good party?
How was filming your last scenes?
Kelvin: I was pretty emotional! I had my mum, dad, brothers and Liz there to watch it. My parents were there on my first day and I wanted them to be there on my last as they’ve been so instrumental to my journey at Emmerdale. That evening I had my leaving party at a live music hall in Leeds. As well as past and present cast, about 50 of my friends were there.
Was it a good party?
Kelvin: It was! Everyone made a video, generally taking the p*** out of me, and then Liz Estensen [who plays Diane Sugden] mentioned Clive Hornby [who played Jack Sugden, Kelvin’s character’s adoptive father on the show. Clive died from cancer in 2008]. Liz said Clive had confided in her about how much he thought of me. I was crying my eyes out when she mentioned that. He was there for the start of my Emmerdale career and in many ways it felt like he was there at the end too. Danny Miller also said some lovely things and then I got up and said a few words and got teary.”

Thanks for posting this as well as the other things today,

it does rather seem Kelvin's departure was permanent, thought it was but it does seem to confirm that, I wonder how they will eventually end the White/Sugden feud if Andy's not returning and the White's don't seem to be going anywhere?
