Yeah, definitely this. He knows he is on precarious ground since Heavy called him on the showmance and (conveniently timed) arguments, so people will be watching to see if it happens again. He's also realised the numbers don't stack up now Chloe's gone and he wants to reposition himself if he stays in so that he isnt the easy option if they struggle for names for the next eviction (especially if Heavy goes) and he pays the price for being Bear's cohort.
