Did James nominate Aubrey on purpose?

Isn't that a possibility? As said many times before James wants to leave the house and collect his fee as soon as possible. Therefore by nominating Aubrey he'll make the whole house turn against him and put him up for eviction, and also for the public to see him as a bad guy and evict him.

No, he really wants to win. he's been seduced by the crowd cheers. All he ever wanted was to be loved and now he thinks he's achieved it. He's a bit slow is old James, he doesn't really get what this game is all about. But yeah, he is desperate to win and has messed up big time, the fraud.

Why shouldn't James have nominated Aubrey ? ... I think his reasons for nominating her were valid

He does not like to be 'counselled' by someone who is younger than his kids, and who has not had a fraction of the the life experiences he has ( including a battle against cancer )

I can understand how an opinionated girl from LA , droning on in that nasal drawl, handing out life-style advice would be galling to a man of 65

She might be be from California ... where having a personal 'analyst' is as necessary as having a dentist ... but that doesn't mean a miserable old bloke from Surrey isn't going to think "Who the **** do you think you are ? " when she is psycho-babbling at him

What is it with the Americans in there this season anyway ? ... they don't hesitate to dish it out, but they throw a fit when they get a fraction of it back !

Woo hoo. The anti-American bigotry is flying all around the room. I'm not sure with the "accents" displayed by so many of the British housemates in there, I'd be knocking anyone else's. You might find it nasal, but at least it doesn't make her sound like a moron.

Certainly, James has a right to nominate anyone he wants. Just as she has a right to call him on it. From her talk in the DR, it was clear she wasn't angry about it. Just that it showed a lot about his character, or lack thereof.

Not sure what kind of game James is playing, they've all been pretty dead set against the goon squad. But he didn't nominate any of them, and instead went for his "friends." That's worthy of calling out.

what a ridiculous theory

How the hell did James knew BB was gonna be playing back to the house Saturday's nominations ?

I really don't know why anyone is shocked by James's nomination of Aubrey

James clearly was not happy being told by Aubrey who he and the rest of the HMs should be voting for this week. This was in relation to the convo in the garden where she insist everyone should be targeting the Rat Pack and picking them off one by one.

James has his own mind & his own opinions & does not like being told who he should nominate.

James didn't say anything nasty in his nomination about Aubrey, but Aubrey went in to the DR ranting & calling him a snake, liar, two faced & complained how he enjoys long conversations. She even brought Jesus up in her rant.

Has Aubrey forgotten that she has already nominated James in the past ?
Did James rant at Katie and Marnie about their nominations, no, he took it in grace like an adult

Aubrey is a horrible, self entitled woman

James is a game player plain and simple

If he wasn't happy about being told what to do why didn't he say anything at the time and why did he continue to sit with Aubrey having conversations and STILL not saying anything!

He thought he could go in the diary room and nominate her and she would never find out but it backfired on him big time!!!

News Flash !

They're all playing a game
It's called trying to survive to reach the Final.

Some like Bear, Lewis & Renee etc are desperate to Win, others would like to win but also try and stay for as long as they can.

James if he reaches the Final he'll be happy, if he wins he'll be over the moon, but if he leaves this Friday he'll be just as happy because he'll be out of that Hell Hole & back home with Mrs W & his pay cheque

No, he spent a long time talking to her and realized she's not a very nice person.

The difference between him and the others - he has been caught out!

It is possible that if he guessed the nominations would be shown, nominating Audrey would keep him out of Bear and Lewis's sights, but I think it is more likely he objected to her telling him how to nominate.

He could very well have told her that she was bothering him. But why upset someone if you can avoid it?
It seems to me that it is kinder to just put up with it than cause a row, and Aubrey was obviously showing him the same consideration by silently putting up with his three hour stories.

Caught doing what ?

Nominating a fellow HM who had nominated him previously ?
Nominating a fellow HM who he didn't like the way she was "playing the game" ?
Nominating a fellow HM who he didn't like the way she was targeting certain HMs ?
Nominating a fellow HM who spat in another HM food and drink before serving it ?

Absolutely. Even when she was having a go at him and he said something back, she was telling him what not to do. This, from a person from the US, where people can't go to the shops without first being counselled about it. She is too big for her boots that one.

Agree with all this. Aubrey's ridiculous over reaction to this has totally turned me off her. She's not up anyway, so what's all the fuss about? As a 56 year old myself, I TOTALLY get where James is coming from. Go round the block a few times Dear then you can talk ......

I thought when he first went in he'd be after a quick eviction and a pay cheque. Because I figured the James whale I thought I knew would be intensely cynical and above this sort of show.

Perhaps he still is? BUT it's also clear that he's someone who does not like to lose. There's no doubt in my mind now that whale wants to win. Aubrey, as one of the more perceived 'sensible' housemates in there (and also second to him in terms of standing up to the squad without screaming) is clearly a danger to him achieving it. He nommed her because he sees her as a threat.

I'm glad people have seen the fail whale for who he really is now.

He's a typical BB contestant. Does unexpectedly well in a couple of phone votes, suddenly gets big headed thinking this is translating into a certain win - and then gets evicted immediately the very next time he is up.

The whole house has turned against him now so he's a certainty be up on Friday.

The fail whale will be gone on Friday night. I'd bet my house on it.

Would it be preferable if she spoke extremely bad English as many of the British so called celebs do ie. Bear HeavyD, Marnie, Chloe?
