The whole house has turned against him now so he's a certainty be up on Friday.

The fail whale will be gone on Friday night. I'd bet my house on it.”

In my opinion the house now believe him to be extremely popular and are too afraid to nominate him just in case they are nominated with him and think they will be out instead of him.

Don't agree with all of this but I do think he's got a taste of the crowd and perceived popularity and thinks he's on to a winner.

James is a snake. Glad the house has seen him for the desperate wannabe he really is.

Because he nominated her believing she would never find out and he could continue being two faced but unfortunately big brother put a spanner in the works!

Now no one in the house trusts him and he will be up next week

James is not a man who likes to be told what to do and Aubrey holding court the other day, telling everyone they had to vote the goon squad out is probably what turned him. It's no coincidence he didn't vote for them.

As stated, she also seems to have forgotten she has voted for him previously ....

James didn't flinch when Katie nominated him.

Marnie also nominated James

The thing is when BB shows them giving their nominations and it causes everyone to go a bit ape sh*t then they will be careful in the diary room next time they have to vote incase it gets shown again.

Audrey was totally over the top about James voting for her. Maybe he did it knowing or thinking no one else would up her up more tactical than being two faced.

Plus Audrey said he needed to talk to God about his vote for her !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe she should have a word with him and tell God why she spit in Bears food .I think thats a hell of a lot worse than just saying I want to nominate Audrey.

At least it has created a bit of interest in the house besides Bear and Heavy acting like toddlers on a very bad day, and Marnie and Lewis pretending to be Romeo and Juliet.

I'm up for that. Could you give a brief description of room sizes and layout etc, so I can start planning redecoration and suchlike

What I would really have liked Aubrey to do was to allow James to explain to her exactly why he nominated her, but after asking him why she proceeded to talk over his every attempt to talk to her, causing him to give up - and probably reinforcing his belief that he'd made the right decision!

I can't stand it when somebody asks a question and doesn't want to listen to the answer!

I can understand how an opinionated girl from LA , droning on in that nasal drawl, handing out life-style advice would be galling to a man of 65

She might be be from California ... where having a personal 'analyst' is as necessary as having a dentist ... but that doesn't mean a miserable old bloke from Surrey isn't going to think "Who the **** do you think you are ? " when she is psycho-babbling at him

What is it with the Americans in there this season anyway ? ... they don't hesitate to dish it out, but they throw a fit when they get a fraction of it back !”

Well said

bib - this statement applies to everybody who makes a nomination in the BB diary room - it's one situation I never consider to be two-faced because it's something they ALL have to do and there are a myriad of reasons why they may nominate a person, even one they socialise with.

The 'social' group of James, Renee, Aubrey et al is not a group that's grown organically out of mutual trust and liking, it's a group that's been forced upon them due to the situation with Bear and his little rat pack. This particular group has no real loyalty to each other, as is exhibited not just by James' nomination but in many other small ways (never backing up Renee when she speaks for them, situations like that).

I can't remember if it was Renee, but somebody made the point on the highlight show that the rat pack have more loyalty to their own group than the others have, and they were right - because it's a group that chose itself and wasn't created out of necessity.

ETA: Within that group there is a smaller friendship group of James, Ricky and Katie, possibly Frankie, but I don't see Aubrey and Renee as being their friends, just their allies against the others.

Very succinctly put.

Why the Hell shouldn't he nominate her? I can't believe her indignation - why would she think she's above being nominated?

Totally agree.

James Whale, has a radio show on BBC Essex. 6 - 9a.m., Monday to Friday.

He has been on there many months now, must say I've warmed to him. Deep down he's a softie. He talks alot about Mrs W and how they met and his family, and his wife growing the veggies. Also the love of his pet dogs.

Regarding the situation with Aubrey going off at James, he looked so uncomfortable. I thought that was uncalled for, then making comments in the diary how it had affected him.

He has talked about school which he hated, and he has spoken on air regarding his dyslexia, which like a friend of mine years ago at school she really suffered. As back in the 60's, many children were picked on.

Well, let's be honest, there have been several housemates who haven't taken being nominated very well - Bear being one for starters I think she has a right to be annoyed, but it's also James' right to nominate her. She should at least listen to him but she doesn't really like him from what she said in the DR anyway. She was just tolerating him seemingly.

Of course he did, he knew he would've been expected to vote in the same way the 'adult side' did. He is far from stupid, he knew this could go against him in the house. He's either hoping for full noms in the hope he is evicted or he's trying to appeal to the Baby Bear fans by being contrary. James really needs to work on practicing his poker face though or get Botox.

They nominated each other but she is the only one complaining.

Obviously the nominations were on purpose. All nominations are on purpose

In fairness, I don't think he knows she nominated him, does he? Not that I think he'd have complained either way.

ETA: Did she nominate him in last night's show? I can't recall - but if so, ignore my post

Exactly!

And as I've said many times before, why's Katie not getting stick for voting for him in arguably a much more cynical way instead of the Goon Squad? She explicitly said she vas voting for him because he was a threat fgs!

Yes because he is a housemate and she is a housemate. Big brother says housemates have to nominate each other and that's what James did. He gave a valid reason so what's the problem.

Aubrey has nominated James before so what's the difference?

Yes me too. And more importantly, especially when I want to know the answer!!
