What is this new obsession viewers have with wanting people to be wound up or on edge

Do people honestly get off from seeing other people anxious and depressed and volitile?

That's pretty sick and is a tell tale sign of how bad audiences have gotten

I'd much rather people get on, have a laugh, work as a team and have any conflicts that arise happen naturally

This new trend of having utterly repugnant people being lauded by the public for antagonising and provoking other housemates is abhorrent

Bear is not entertaining, he's ruining other people's experiences in the house

I've wanted to see Sam Fox in that house for years and he's COMPLETELY ruined her experience and my experience of her.

I've literally had to switch off I cannot take the childish behaviour anymore

Anyone over 15 who is remotely amused by Bear and Co should be ashamed of themselves

Wasting food, harrassing other HM, damaging property etc are all things I don't find in the least bit amusing

Any normal adult would feel the same

Now we're into viewer-shaming because they're enjoying watching a television show?

I don't care

You should be ashamed if you find this behaviour funny

Who are you to judge anyone for their viewing preferences?

I'm enjoying the TV show, that's what it's there for. If I wasn't, then I wouldn't watch.

What I wouldn't do is watch then complain incessantly, and judge other people who are watching it.

Judging another adult for condoning sociopathic behaviour

It's. a. television. show. I rather think you should climb down from your high horse (and maybe untwist your knickers when you get there) . Let other people do them, if they're enjoying the series then let them enjoy it. Good morning to you.

I find the goading and tormenting of individuals to be very sad, and I too am preplexed at what kind of enjoyment any viewer would garner from it.

I watch the show as a diehard BB fan and in this instance in the hope that ugly p*ick Stephen Bear is unceremoniously booted out on his ar*e.

Mate that type of behaviour is not acceptable in ANY circumstance

Even for a TV show

It's not entertaining

It's ugly and crass and sociopathic

Don't watch it if you don't enjoy it.

No! No! No! I absolutely hate this kind of post. I dislike Bear and everything he stands for but how dare you tell anyone that they need to be ashamed of themselves just because they don't perceive things the way you do.

It's not about perception

It's a fact that this behaviour isn't acceptable in any way shape or form

Not even on TV

It's like you're trying to excuse behaviour because he's on a TV show

People are now aspiring to that standard and wanting him to win????

That is shameful to want to reward the nastiness in this world

You as a collective

Not you individually

You may not like Beat but by not challenging people who support him you're effectively enabling that behaviour

Wow, who rattled your cage.

The OP can say whatever they want and you can respond, however what's with the "how dare you" ....

Was that rhetoric?

I'll answer anyway. No one should ever judge another poster based on their tv watching preferences so I reserve the right to response indignantly when someone does so and when it comes to rattling cages mine was rattled by more than a smiley

You have a right to judge the housemate why do you think it's ok to judge the character of a complete stranger based on their tv watching preferences? I will never get that.

Someone who finds obnoxious, volitile, sociopathic, vindictive and childish behaviour entertaining

Must also attribute some of those qualities to themselves

We like housemates we identify with

If you like Bear then you identify with him

And if you identify with him then there's nothing down for you

I will never be that judgmental but hopefully much better at sarcasm

I apologise, I must have really peed you off when I questioned your questioning. Oh well lesson learnt
