The editing of this show now has gone beyond irritating to just plain offensive now

Why bother hiring 15 housemates if you're just going to show 3-4 of them

I have wanted to see Sam Fox in there for years but she's been completely edited out in favour of an obnoxious man child who wastes good, antagonises people and is very very loud

They're feeding you this 'oh my god bears so entertaining, look at what he's doing now' bullshit and you are eating it up

By your own standards this year, legendary housemates like Brian and Nikki wouldn't have got a look in, they too would have been edited out and you would have deemed them boring

We are missing out on potentially legendary housemates because you all think the psychotic man child is hilarious

Bear is stifling other housemates

They're not wanting to engage

It's probably draining them

We're not seeing many tasks, we're not seeing any fun stuff

Just depressed and drained housemates cleaning up after the sociopathic children

REAL celebs will not touch this with a barge pole anymore, what is the point of they're going to be edited out in favour of reality stars in their element, faking every single emotion

I wouldn't say legendary but Bear is definitely bring down the mood of the house constantly and the others seem half afraid of raising their heads above the parapet.

I would imagine they see engaging with him as career suicide - those that are professional celebs not the reality lot.

This is the point

How do you know they wouldn't have been LEGENDERY

They would have been completely different in different circumstances

Great post Damon I totally agree with you.

I could see the strained look on Sam and Ricky's faces yesterday, their way of coping with the Bear tactics.

Completely agree. There were a few actual celebrities in there. Unfortunately all we have seen them do is react to this moron. Nothing else. He's been allowed to ruin the show, ruin the experience of the other housemates and, if there was any "social experiment" aspect in bb left, that's gone too as its obvious that the makers of thjs programme couldn't care less about it any more.

Oh gods, lol I just don't think any of them have the potential to be legendary, I can't see anything in any of the housemates that IMO would raise them to legend status.

Same here. Their annoyance and browbeaten demeanor was palpable.

Why has BB allowed the show to go in this downward spiral of baiting and goading by one evil nasty abomination. I imagine its shattering on ones nerves to co exist with him.

Stephen Bear gets physically uglier by the days too. He actually repulses me.

You would have said that about Dowling or Nikki or Nadia if they had been in the same house as Bear

Get some perspective

Last series when the so called "boring people" stayed over Lateysha and Ryan, people assumed it'll become boring, but it turned out to be even more entertaining. You would think people would have learnt by now that getting rid of these obnoxious attention seekers would only bring out bigger, more interesting characters who don't have to resort to 3 year-old mannerisms to be entertaining.

The fact that Frankie was arguably one of the most entertaining housemates and biggest characters of his season of Big Brother US, is now nothing more than wallpaper in this season because everything is about Bear is proof enough. Idiots like Bear never provide entertainment, they just suck the life and energy out of everyone around them, then they only seem entertaining by comparison.

"Potentially legendary", i.e boring.

I agree totally. I too want to see Samantha Fox and more of the others as well. I find Bear utterly repulsive and offensive and if he wasn't in there it would be a half decent show. At the moment it is unwatchable and haven't bothered downloading the current episode after reading the forum.

I think I will just watch the eviction shows from now on and CBBOTS when Nikki is on it!

I have perspective, I just don't agree with you - there's a difference. The fact is none of the above are in the house and of those in there now I do not think they have the potential to be legendary.

Exactly.

This is one of the best ever CBB's and the viewing figures are very good. People love all the drama and arguments and Bear is at the centre of everything that is entertaining.

People are not tuning in across the entire country to watch something that potentially might be entertaining eventually. They are tuning in across the land to see what is definitely entertaining now and that is Bear and the leading members of #TEAMSQUAD.

If the choice #TEAMSQUAD vs the old whinging bores the vast majority of people will choose #TEAMSQUAD every day of the week.

Bear is already a BB legend.

It's the age old, BB dilemma. Getting to know and like someone gradually, versus "entertaining" or in other words immediate, incessant mayhem!

You really need to accept difference of opinion without being so insulting, it's very childish.

BIB why did you think that? I have made it very clear on this forum that -

“I dislike Bear and everything he stands for”

I have also said that I think he is stifling other housemates... lol

If you oppose Bear why aren't you challenging his supporters?

You're enabling this behaviour by saying nothing. Are you a fence sitter?

I can't possibly enable his behavior as I am not in the house.

I am not challenging his supporters because they have the right to support whoever they wish and the point of this forum is to discuss the show, not the other forum members. If I see a post I disagree with, I will give my view but I am not going to try to force others to my way of thinking.
