The Big Fat Quiz of Everything returns tonight for a 3 episode run.

Tonight's show will feature David Mitchell, Bob Mortimer, Kristen Schaal, Claudia Winkleman, Mel Giedroyc and Jonathan Ross.

Episode 2 will feature Adam Buxton, Jonathan Ross, Rob Beckett, Aisling Bea, Noel Fielding and Richard Ayoade.

Episode 3's panel is currently unknown.

Anyway, looking forward to tonight, do love this show a lot, still think the Big Fat Quiz which featured Mr Blobby was possibly one of the funniest moments of television

Safe bet that Jonathan my company makes it so I'll be in every one Ross will be one of them. Soon, he'll be the only person giving him work on any channel. Good job the wife's a grafter.

I see the Winkle virus blights the first and Noel "Gizzajob" Fielding the second. Sheesh!

Yeah I was admittedly thinking as I typed that that I'd place a fairly hefty sum of money on Ross being one of the panellists.

As for Winkleman, I do actually quite like Winkleman, she's certainly nowhere near as cringe-worthily unfunny as Mel Giedroyc in my opinion and she isn't as unlikeable as, say, Mel B who appeared a couple of years ago, so she's fine.

And normally I'd agree with you that Fielding is generally up his own ass and tends to try and shoot for the centre of attention but I don't find him to be too bad when he's appearing with Richard Ayoade, so hopefully that'll balance itself out.

The Mr Blobby bit with Jack Whitehall and Dara O'Briain was absolutely hilarious.

I generally enjoy the Noel Fielding and Richard Ayoade pairing. They keep it from getting too stuffy. Some people get annoyed at their antics.

Here's a trailer for the show:

If you pause it at 0:15 you can see the Episode 3 panel which seems to be:

Romesh Ranganathan, Alan Carr, Dara O'Briain, Chelsea Peretti, Noel Fielding and Eddie Izzard

Always enjoy this, even when there are guests I don't really like.

That's a good spot from that image, didn't recognise her name but have just checked and she's been on the show once before.

She was great before. Really nailed the right sense of humour for this. I guess she enjoyed it enough to come back and I can't imagine she's short of work what with Brooklyn Nine Nine being so popular.

...

So we get Woss twice and Fielding twice. Eurgh! Can't see Izzard bringing much to this either.

That's a great panel .. apart from Ranganathan. I've never liked him - his pseudo-serious schtick is bloody annoying.

The show, while enjoyable, works best when they actually take the quiz half-seriously.

Much like Cats Does Countdown, it falls apart when they're just messing around trying to 'outdo' one another.

Agreed, I also find it tiring that he pops up everywhere.

But I'm a huge fan of both Chelsea Peretti and Dara O'Briain so I'm looking forward to seeing how they work together on the same team.

The Winkle virus annoying right from the off. The older Ross gets the younger he dresses - Another ten years and he'll be in a romper suit. Him and Jimmy are good friends - Do they dye each others hair I wonder...

American actress most recently seen in Last Man on Earth on Dave.

...

Mitchell becomes less funny the more you see of him. How long before he gets shouty?

She's better known for having been a recurring character in both 30 Rock and Flight of the Conchords.

Think it's going okay so far, nothing's made me laugh out loud properly yet but Bob Mortimer and David Mitchell talking about the haunted anus got me smiling and chuckling to myself.

Mel Giedroyc is starting to get on my tits, watching her is like watching an aunt who think she's "down with the kids" and way funnier than she actually is somehow making it onto a publicly broadcast panel show.

They are seriously doing a series of these, havnt found anything in it slightly amusing, the fake dubbed laughter is very poorly done.

If you have kids, you might have heard her as "Mabel" on Disney's animated show 'Gravity Falls'. She also hosted Buzzcocks a couple of years ago. She has a very distinctive voice, not unlike Yeardley Smith who voices Lisa Simpson. I can see how her voice might annoy people.

That's a very good description, I didn't like her on this BFQ very much.

Overall I enjoyed the show, David Mitchell is always good, and there wasn't too much in the way of silly answers, which I'm sure will change with Fielding/Ayoade. To be fair, this is a big reason why this show is popular, because it's not meant to be serious.

Jon Snow doing the Y.M.C.A. was good. If only he'd been dressed as a cowboy or a biker in leather.

Judging by Dara's dry sense of humour, I think they'll work very well together. The lineup for episode 2 is almost perfect as well (for me anyway). Replace Ross and Beckett with, say, Bob Mortimer and Eddie Izzard and it could be a classic.
