I watched it on catch up tonight for the first time. Bear and heavy D are so childish.

But it's the others who annoy me more by letting him get away with it.

But I know you can't argue or reason with STUPID.

I even question my own sanity for actually watching .

This CBB is a snooze fest thanks to that cretin. Thank goodness for the Olympics. Turned over to watch the cycling and Cavendish getting a silver.

It must be so hard for the other HMs to keep biting their tongues.
I actually feel kinda sorry for them all now.

No doubt he'll be saved again tomorrow and then it can only get worse.

I know it's all in the edit but if Bear is being a prat 24/7 it's difficult to edit him out of everything. Tonight we managed to get a few side conversations but at the same time Bear was craving attention in the background and became the centre of the story AGAIN..

The rest of the house has given up getting to know each other and sharing interesting stories because self-preservation requires them to want to know where bear is and what he's doing. They are all talking about what he is doing now, what he did earlier or what he'll do next. Bears predictable unpredictability both on and off task drains any enthusiasm from the house and stifles relaxed conversations.

It's the same in the real world and it's difficult to focus on a conversation if a wasp or other irritating animal is in the room flying about. Similarly if you visit a friends house with a toddler you are constantly watching to see what they are up to or dealing with them which interrupts the flow of a conversation.

At least with a fly or wasp you can try and get it out of the house with a bit of effort or just kill it.

I think they should fill a room with 3 year olds and put Bear in with them for the day so that he has some company of his own age.

Yes! Definitely the toddler scenario
Trying to have a cuppa and chat with a mate and a toddler in tow is a nightmare because they're all me me me , they can't help it it's a developmental phase...maybe Stephen never moved on from toddlerhood and has been babied all his life

Wow I never knew that about the word cretin! I won't use it in future.

Haven't watched all week. Fed up of the toddler. Will watch on here to see if it gets evicted. Then I can catch up. Wonder how many of us there are.

Someone thinks that BB watchers also watch the scripted rubbish. I prefer to watch people being themselves, not playing a part. I know that I am not alone.

The all powerful BB is gone too. He needs to get a grip.

I agree I do not understand the producers of this show at all. How they condone such behaviour is unbelievable.

BBOTS as well always saying what a great housemate he is.

If this is what BB has come to I will not be watching I said a week ago I would stop but keep hoping it will improve if he goes but that does not seem likely as he is definitely the chosen one.

The school task as been based around his behaviour so the producers are more than happy to entertain this idiots antics.

Mind you why they bother with the "celebrity" title this year is a mystery and paying fees to idiots like Bear. Wow. . Could pick up loads of idiots just like him for free. Never heard of him or half of the "celebrities".

I have watched CBB from its infancy and they used to have real celebrities on them. They even had one of the Jackson 5 and his sister and bona fide film stars and comedians. These guys didn't play up to the camera, it wasn't about that (that was for normal BB). They used to be wound up by Big Brother and be put into uncomfortable situations, creating all sorts of reactions, which was fantastic viewing. No one on CBB had to 'earn' their fee, they just had to last it out and put up with the turmoil BB would create.

Does anyone remember the good old days? This rubbish they call Celebrity BB is just plain vile now and no difference to normal BB. So sad. ”

This is the first time I've stopped watching CBB, I too gave up with the civilian one a couple of years ago but looked forward to the CBB version. This one is just dire and they'll never get any real celebs to take part after this.

Imo Perez was amusing. Not so Bear. And Perez had a constant thorn in his side who harassed and harangued him daily, and he showed emotion. I might even have been persuaded to be on Katie Hopkins side had she been in there with Bear and challenged him.

Yesterday i was taking our dogs out for a walk, along with my 4 year old daughter and i met a friend in the street. The dogs laid down while we chatted, whilst my 4 year insisted on walking around my friend and i in a circle, over and over and over again.....remind you of a certain attention seeking someone?

Difference is, when we set off on our walk again, i told my daughter that, that is rude and she understood and said sorry.

Back before cretin meant “a stupid person,” it was a medical term for a physical deformity that came from a specific disease. Surprisingly, the root of cretin is the Swiss French word crestin, which means “Christian.” It seems that people back then wanted to remind themselves that even though cretins look unusual, they’re still humans who deserve kindness.

You now when they say the phrase 'lifelong learning'? I think DS is a bit like that - over the years I honestly have learned so much from other FM's on here (yes even the BB forum) and other DS forums. I like to remind myself of this when I tell myself off (as I do often) for wasting my time.

My father's mantra was 'learn at least one new thing every day' and I do try to do so. I always feel quite smug when I fulfill his instructions before mid-day and today is one of those days.
