What's the point of tasks

I have tried to persevere with the rubbish BB is shoving down our throats this series, but, after watching the first 15 minutes of tonight's episode, instead of fast forward, I actually turned off. Sitting with my grandchildren watching programmes for 4 years and under is more entertaining than watching this moronic idiot (I can't even bring myself to say the pathetic low life's name) do his performing monkey antics!
What's the point in doing any tasks when he is not going to participate, gets no punishment, and ruins what could be a bit of fun for the housemates, and, maybe something remotely watchable for the viewing public.
Rant over, going to take a Valium and calm down.

After being a massive BB fan for the last 12 years, I stopped watching on Friday night and I've never been happier so don't worry about it.

Think there haven't been nearly as many tasks as there used to be, so the housemates get bored with nothing to do, and that's when all the trouble starts.

Is the task finished?

What was the point of it, was it a shopping task?

This one was fun enough for a day. BB5 did it so much better, though.

I have said I would like more fun tasks, not all the ones to cause arguments. We get a task could be fun and Bear ruins it for housemates and viewers with his bloody stupid antics. He even ruined the book. What a Moron. He gets a warning again, how many before he is asked to leave. He thinks the warnings are a joke .

Tasks are only implemented in order to drive the story the production team wish promote.
Secret tasks are blatant promotion of a certain HM.

Sometimes they do tasks and they don't even bother to tell you what they're about, what's at stake, or what the prize is.

I've skipped from the launch night onwards and couldn't be happier (I did fast forward through the Biggins ejection ep to see what the fuss was about, and watched the Chloe eviction.)

I still enjoy the forum and some really lovely and funny people here. I fully understand why long term fans stick with it (jeez, I gave it two more years than I should have after the Helen Wood Show, but hey I had a good laugh at the likes of Chelsea last series, and the public sticking two fingers up at production with the team Cleo victory!).

I must say though it sounds even worse than I feared
