Is Marnie Pretty Enough to get a role in Corrie?
Star Baker

If Marnie's series of screeches and howls could be funneled by a voice trainer into something that sounded like sentences would she be pretty enough to get a role on Coronation Street?

A 'Beauty' on Corrie doesn't have to have the true beauty of a real woman, just the relentless forcing of their faces into your living room 9 days a week will make you think they're a lovely lady unless they're upsetting Ken and hitting someone on the face with a hammer. Is Marnie Corrie Ready or would she only be able to win the hearts of Emmerdale viewers?

She's pretty enough to get a role in Hollyoaks I'd say.

her and Lewis could be silent dart players in the Rovers Return, I think they have the talent for that

Of course she's pretty enough. If Kim Marsh was pretty enough, Marnie certainly is.

Kim's eyes at a distance are friendly enough for her to appear as a normal actress, and over the years they've even been used her in intimate scenes. Marnie might be able to be used in shots across the cobbles but I think a close-up would be a little jarring for current audiences. Not Emmerdale audiences who are more used to the feral and horrifying day-to-day occurences of country life.

Only looks count apparently. She is pretty enough for Hollyoaks I have said and acting isn't a prerequisite there so . . .

I want Frankie in EE. He could be Mark's American cousin

She could be Ken's new squeeze!

She's not a good enough actress to get an acting job. She would smirk through every love scene, and the rest of her repertoire is squealing and jumping around. One dimensional, no talent.

She reminds me of a ventriloquist dummy tbh.

I don't think shes ugly at all just a bit weird looking

Do you have to be pretty and able to act then?

She is pretty - but wouldn't she be required to have a modicum of acting talent ??

Such a silly thread & I am even sillier for posting in it !!

Me too

She doesn't look like a Corrie type of girl, though

her and Lewis could be the local flashers, flashing their tits and scrotum from their bedroom window, causing Emily Bishop to drop her groceries
