I've been feeling the exact same when I see people say he's just a bit of a lad,I truly worry about the World of today
![]() And OP your post was enlightening and made me actually feel better about myself as this is how I feel about Bear because of an ex husband like that and all I've been tweeting is that I think he's dangerous so thank you for your eloquently put post ![]() Sounds like you'll understand exactly what I'm trying to say, like, about the constant drip drip of "Little Things" adding up to shedloads of things that just wear you down... Until you actually start questioning yourself & thinking perhaps you ARE just making a fuss over silly things & it becomes normal... It's horrible watching the others cringing when he comes near them because they've given up asking him to respect their personal space - because it makes no difference. They've figured out that NOTHING they say/do will make him care about anyone except himself & his "Game" so they've got no choice but to put up with it, or confront him - which makes him worse - he wins either way in his eyes cos he's got the POWER. It really doesn't help that BB are pretty much condoning his behaviour too, ok they did the school task - which although it calmed Bear (And Heavy D) a little, he still strutted around doing the same old same old... And to the person/ people saying I'm projecting my issues onto Bear... Pffffft. I can see the signs a little easier that's all. Living with an emotionally/mentally abusive/violent/aggressive/unpredictable person does that to you, you learn a LOT about psychology, body language, analysing voice tones & self control - because you have to learn that stuff to survive. And you have to be able to do it in a split second at times too, when you're dealing with an unpredictable person you literally never know what they'll do next & you have to ready for whatever comes your way. I'm not saying Bear's just like my ex, or any other abusive person but his behaviour is abusive for sure! Crowing over someone being up for eviction, strutting up to give a patronising high-5, then when she calmly rebuffed him "Oh WELL, I was only trying to be nice, some people eh?!"... He knows EXACTLY what he's doing, he knows the others know it but are helpless to stop him, he gets a huge kick out of it & loves seeing people unhappy. He may be a very unhappy man too deep down, if so I'm sorry for that - but it doesn't give him entitlement to go round treating people like crap. People like him rely on there being some people that will give him the benefit of the doubt, that will try to "Figure him out" , and all he'll do is feed off them, manipulate them, chew them up & spit them out when they've served their purpose... I doubt the housemates were expecting to have to deal with such a horrible, draining person & I feel very sad the way the show's gone this series. |

Thank you for that, I'm glad you feel better cos nope-you're not alone, there are many of us out there unfortunately... I'm not saying he's strong/hard or courageous-you don't have to be to be an abuser, manipulator, chaos causer, emotional vampire, emotional terrorist!!

Well said I could not agree more it makes uncomfortable viewing times What I find quite sad is that there is some people actually cheering him on I was raised by a women that was sociopathic and. Narcissistic which resulted in some of my siblings developing narcissistic traits once you walk away from it you never want to revisit it I feel very sorry for the housemate ,s and I question how so meny can't see what he is doing surly there has to be a one drawn were enough is enough even for BB. Standards abuse is abuse and should never be celebrated in the name of entertainment |

Good post OP. I've previously mentioned that he reminds me so much of an ex. That said ex is in prison for violent crimes against me. Plus an ex gf of Bears has come out saying he was sexually abuse.

Interesting post OP, and I largely agree. I think for vulnerable women with no self-respect he would be quite dangerous because the guy doesn't seem to have any kind of empathy or any kind of boundaries. And like you, I think hes calculating and cruel. He was delighted with Chloe debasing herself on telly. She was a sex toy for him.
I watch him 'dispassionately' and have even laughed at times, but if you go beyond the entertainment value of him deliberately trolling and creating havoc in a gameshow environment, and look behind the guy's eyes, there's nothing there. The only real emotion I've seen him express is anger. It's this aspect of him that strikes me the most. His coldness and lack of emotional range. It's quite disturbing when you really home in on it. Hmmm, maybe I should watch his actions with that in mind and see if I see the same devil as everyone else.... |

I bet he's heard that his entire life. From his mum, his nan, his siblings.....
Now look at the state of him? A complete and utter unlikable mess because as long as nothing's ever his fault, he never need do any behavioural modification. How's that working for him? just because you do not like him do not presume he has no fans he has been saved 3 times and has entertained me far more than the others have Bear is far from perfect he can be aggressive annoying a wind up and a pain in the arse but he is my winner Renee has bullied intimidated the whole house against him just because he turned her down Bear to win |

It's not the obvious person that one needs to be wary of, it's the deceptive, controlling sneaky person who knows how to hide it. |

james sam and ricky would send a glass eye to sleep , they are so paranoid about what the public think of them they are no fun at all , none of them ever smile or laugh . nobody can blame all of this on bear it is just too ridiculous The fact that so many feel uneasy and unable to find enjoyment in what they are watching speaks of something else and whatever it is, it isn't panto. As it is the 'joker' in the pack is more of a malevolent sprite who is dominating, goading and baiting and it is obvious if anyone speaks up they would get the treatment of James in the first week, and they would be targeted. Bear isn't interested in fooling around so others can laugh at him rather he wants people to laugh at his targets being humiliated and/or taunted, especially if it is done to the point of an over reaction. He is more like a sinister puppet master (and he is good at what he is doing) but let's not pretend it is innocent fun as much of it is deeply unpleasant. |

Bore is everything the OP said he was.
A liar, a bully and a coward. A liar because he describes his behaviour as 'bantz', even though 'bantz' is what you do to people who actually like you and are therefore expected to get the joke. He does it to people who clearly detest him, to cause maximum anger and resentment. A bully because he's hiding behind the rules of BB which mean that no one can use physical violence, or even threaten physical violence, under threat of expulsion from the House. No one likes to condone violence, but as uncomfortable as it may be to hear, violence is the only thing that will stop him (even if it just means someone taking hold of him by the scruff of the neck and throwing him out of the House via the fire escape). And for BOTH those reasons, he's a bully. Cue the "That word is SO over-used!" posts, all of which are designed to condone and excuse Bore's ugly actions by people who are either winding the forum up (in much the same way as their 'hero') or are every bit as emotionally deficient as the person they're praising. |

Well said op. I think BB should send that security guard back in the house to have a quiet word with bear about his behavior. Watching him shit himself is entertaining.
