No one said he wasn't a coward! There are other ways to be dangerous. His is a total disregard for other people and absolutely zero conscience. Not wanting to be overly dramatic but I wouldn't be surprised to hear he kills someone one day.

I've been feeling the exact same when I see people say he's just a bit of a lad,I truly worry about the World of today
![]() And OP your post was enlightening and made me actually feel better about myself as this is how I feel about Bear because of an ex husband like that and all I've been tweeting is that I think he's dangerous so thank you for your eloquently put post ![]() Quote:
Well said I could not agree more it makes uncomfortable viewing times What I find quite sad is that there is some people actually cheering him on
I was raised by a women that was sociopathic and. Narcissistic which resulted in some of my siblings developing narcissistic traits once you walk away from it you never want to revisit it I feel very sorry for the housemate ,s and I question how so meny can't see what he is doing surly there has to be a one drawn were enough is enough even for BB. Standards abuse is abuse and should never be celebrated in the name of entertainment Quote:
Good post OP. I've previously mentioned that he reminds me so much of an ex. That said ex is in prison for violent crimes against me. Plus an ex gf of Bears has come out saying he was sexually abuse.
Nice try Libretio - but when the thread is littered with such posts as the ones I've quoted above, it rather proves my point. Quote:

Are we all missing where his ex gf has claimed he threatened to throw her out of the hotel they were staying in if she didn't suck his c**k? Or are we just gonna skim past that...
And YES he does remind me of a violent ex. Sorry if that offends you somehow??? |

Tend to agree, sans Katie.
It's not the obvious person that one needs to be wary of, it's the deceptive, controlling sneaky person who knows how to hide it. I do remember James being the first to throw food (coffee) and therefore starting the bad behaviour regarding food wastage. Bear goads yes but so did Lewis, Heavy D and Big Brother themselves are the biggest goading shit-mixers in there. I find Renee being a mobster's wife and a verbal bully, Aubrey spitting in people's drinks and food, Ricky exploding because Bear got Chloe and not him and Lewis's sexist, deluded behaviour far more sinister. |

And YES he does remind me of a violent ex. Sorry if that offends you somehow??? Emotional/Mental abuse in particular is really difficult for people to truly understand, the general assumption seems to be that you're not getting hurt physically-so it can't be that bad. I didn't start this post to relate my life story or gain sympathy - I started it because I was hoping to open up a discussion about my opinions of Bear. It seems to be inevitable that some people will come along & begin the playground stuff. They either just want a reaction from you, or they genuinely believe it's ok to tell people they don't know that they're lying about being abused - in which case they're not very nice people. For anyone to say you're lying about your experience, you gotta shake it off as their problem - especially when that person's hidden behind a screen & blatantly baiting you... So what if they don't believe you because you know. If you wanna share your experience and opinion, you have just as much right as anyone else, I think it's really brave of you!! You do not have to defend your validity to anyone. ![]() The thing with Bear is, if he acts so disgustingly when he knows he is being watched - imagine what he's like in private??? |

Don't rise to it m'luffly... The biggest reason for abused women, men & children staying silent is because of attitudes like that... "You're Exaggerating" "Why Would You Stay If It's So Bad" "You're Just Bitter" "You're A Drama Queen" "But They're So NICE!!"... Etc etc etc.

I too think Bear is a sociopath, and therefore that makes him dangerous. You don't often realise until you've lived with one. I know because my father is one. He can be charming and friendly, full of compliments, intelligent and good company, but thrives on others misery. Most people think he's wonderful and funny and would do anything for anyone, but thats his sociopathic persona. He too would make digs and undermine confidence, knock you down and then stand back with hands in the air when anything kicked off and turn it back on you for being over sensitive etc etc. Its bullying passively so much of it goes under the radar. They will never admit they are wrong, have no conscience and will manipulate to get their own way. I saw this with Bear to Chloe before they got together - 'I need to sleep in your bed tonight, I'm up for nomination and feel a bit upset, so I need a cuddle' - some might say harmless enough, she could say no, but its creepy manipulation. This alone is cringeworthy, but he plays the innocent and thats whats dangerous. He's clever and sly and the reason he backed away from security is he wins with words and manipulation, a proper coward for the physical, he goes for someones achilles heel, attacks the weak and the more vulnerable. The suggestions on this thread aren't that outrageous - once you know sociopathic people and are on the receiving end, its easier to spot them and I know from experience that they can be extremely dangerous and often turn violent, or seek revenge in the nastiest of ways.

Aren't sociopaths supposed to be good at hiding their true intentions? Bear couldn't be any worse at that if he tried. I don't think he's a sociopath, just a low-moral chav.

If it was just panto/fun everyone would be loving it, as panto is harmless, silly fun that everyone can laugh along with. The characters in a panto have fun by making fools of themseves for others enjoyment and laughter. Everyone laughs along in panto and if BB was like that because, they didn't allow people to be baited and had tasks which encouraged silliness and lightness then the shyer more passive characters in the house (or in this case just about everyone else) would feel able to open up and enjoy things more and that in turn would help create the fun and hopefully comical situations, but it would all be harmless stuff.
The fact that so many feel uneasy and unable to find enjoyment in what they are watching speaks of something else and whatever it is, it isn't panto. As it is the 'joker' in the pack is more of a malevolent sprite who is dominating, goading and baiting and it is obvious if anyone speaks up they would get the treatment of James in the first week, and they would be targeted. Bear isn't interested in fooling around so others can laugh at him rather he wants people to laugh at his targets being humiliated and/or taunted, especially if it is done to the point of an over reaction. He is more like a sinister puppet master (and he is good at what he is doing) but let's not pretend it is innocent fun as much of it is deeply unpleasant. It is a panto , you are completely overreacting to a TV show , it will all be over in a few weeks and will no no impact on your life whatsoever . Bear to win as he has entertained me , all those ego;s in that house are absolutely ridiculous as they are all just coasting for the pay cheque. bear has also been at the receiving end of goading humiliation etc , take your blinkers off |

I was in a very very abusive marriage for years....and I totally disagree with the opening post to be honest. In many ways I think others in the house are worse than he is.

You would only have to be a few inches taller than bear and imo he would back off, I admit the security guy was a big chap, but he made bear look like the worm he is, If you noticed he never got on the wrong side of the Heavy twit .....
