Really...It was his intention to deface and damage a part of a day that the houseemates enjoyed. What part of that escapes you. Genuine question. It bothered him enough to act spitefully and destroy it.If he really wanted to deface and Damage the book ,he would have used Nail Polish or something that couldn't easily be wiped off ,but he didn't he used Jam knowing that if they were truly bothered it could easily be salvaged with some soapy water and a damp cloth |

As has been said several times up-thread - it was his motivation to destroy what the book symbolised that bothered them.
......After Lewis had been in the Diary room moaning even Renee and Sam told him he was being over sensitive about it and it was only a Task Book

I don't understand this Bear character at all
![]() I have only seen him, 'being himself' twice !! The first time, in the diary room, where he looked terrified, after being ordered to sit down by the Security guard ![]() The second time, when he had had coffee poured over him by James & retaliated - he had a look of fury & spite on his face. He, also showed spite, last night, during the Yearbook incident. Who is he ? What is he really like, I wonder ? As for the year book, he's upping his nastiness! Just such a horrible person

Yes he is so considerate isn't he, only destroying the book with jam. You're right he obviously thought it through and considered their feelings before doing this and he's probably advising them today how to repair it as per your handy soapy water hint. Actually knowing Bear he has probably already done that for them

Watching that repellent little creep deface the album nearly tipped me over the edge.
I could not believe that any grown person would be so spiteful as to destroy something that gave the hm's such simple pleasure. Pleasure that has been in short supply because of his appalling behavior. It was an act of pure unaduterated spite and hatred. I loathe him and his tormenting and goading, but this was downright nasty, chilling and very creepy. ![]() |

I can't say I have seen him deriving pleasure from a single sodding thing so far. There is never that sparkle of mischief, barely concealed mirth or silly giggling accompanying his antics. His "wind ups" are all conducted joylessly and mechanically and seem to be motivated by nothing more than creating misery in others. He doesn't even seem to get enjoy from that that much either.
Even his 'hots' for Chloe seemed to be weirdly cold. He petted her with a sort of clinical detachment as if she were no more than a commodity being evaluated. I am actually beginning see him as a piteous creature. It's as if he has nothing inside, no emotion, no empathy, no joy, no nothing. It must be dreadful to be so utterly empty of what makes us human. |

You've put things so perfectly - the coldness, calculation and joylessness are things I've noticed in him. I do worry about the BB production team are making him so much worse by validating his behaviour. No one else would get away with the things he's done. What happens when he leaves the house and things don't go his way? He'll probably graduate from emotional damage to harming them physically.
He doesn't even seem to take pleasure from being so nasty, he genuinely doesn't seem to understand any of way of being. There is something truly chilling about him |

Just ignore him Scarlett. He's just a knob head. Not even his 'friends' really like him x
xxI've seldom been so incensed at a housemate...and that's coming from a life long BB fan. I have a feeling I'll be hanging up my stripes after this debacle.
