BIB wouldn't surprise me one little bit ,if it's in the script for his redemption Journey then that's exactly what he would've done .....

Like you say TT very considerate is our Bear when he wants to be

Yep ,They were the BBs I did enjoy and get Passionate over ,but now we no longer have 24/7 L/F or at least Long periods of it ,I just take it for the shite it is ,and no longer get all angsty over it to the point I'm not really bothered who goes ,who stays or even who wins ....as we don't get to see enough to make our own minds up anymore..Just the Story lineBB/C5 want us to see

Good post.

I've been saying from early days that he never smiles, never enjoys a thing that he does. He just looks angry at the world all the time.

And, as for outside the house, he dumped his gf without even a backward glance -to coin his favourite word " ruthless" or as he pronounces it "roofless".....Let's see what Chloe says after he has outlived his use for her .”

bib - Aubrey tried to make that point to him ages ago, that the show is supposed to be a means to an end and that, if it is supposed to be that for Bear, he's going to have no ends of which to make means if he carried on as he has.

If he's just thinking of the £, which seemingly he is, then he'll get his fee no matter what. He's got one show coming up hasn't he (Ex on the Beach) and then what - back to roofing once the money's gone.

CBB hasn't set him up for anything else, it's not been a great advertisement to hire him for anything unless there's a male version of BabeStation!

I don't think he looks further than having enough money in the now, unless he's hiding a great talent for financial investment.

I think this task rattled Bear. Ricky and Aubrey had control and they used that control, wisely - they put in place rules that were positive for the house and didn't use their power to piss people off. For the first time we saw BB step in and punish Bear as soon as he started acting out. Both Ricky and Aubrey ignored him well. He tried to be destructive with the painting and they gave him first prize, which was the opposite of what he was trying to achieve. All the HMs came together and enjoyed the task, even Lewis and Marnie were integrated well. The book symbolised this. It was the evidence of a job well done, that he hadn't controlled by being destructive. By defacing the book, he spitefully took away the good feeling they had. He didn't even care that he was upsetting his friends Lewis and Marnie. By destroying the book that symbolised their unity, he took back control.

Forgot to add, Bear is a nasty bas***d. Something psychopathic about him. Shudder.

I really don't think he considers Lewis or Marnie to be friends - from the way he spoke about them to Chloe, that's not how you talk about friends. He sees them as allies for the most part I think, but I don't think he likes them really. He just knows that he has to have somebody on side.

He has Lewis pledging allegiance all the time - he just did it again on the show just now, but Bear isn't reciprocating that pledge.

Me too, I was going to throw a couple of votes to both Renee and Heavy to try and get Bear or Lewis out but I'm not spending a penny on this crap when BB is letting Bear run amok and not punishing him. The jam in the school book was spiteful and pathetic, just like the constant spillage of the coffee. I've had enough of his childish games. Whoever finds this entertaining must be of the same brain as Bear, good luck to them, they are going to need it!

Ain't he just.
If he was mentally ill, he wouldn't know what he's doing is wrong & he DOES. He gets a kick out of chaos & unhappiness, it makes him feel important cos in his eyes he's got control and power, therefore he is invincible.
The few housemates who've tried to reason with him have been worn down cos they don't know how to deal with him & explain what they want to say, that they can be more assertive... I'd be like "Ok, I've asked you so many times to please stop invading my personal space, it's getting silly now, there's only so many "Accidents" & "I Forgot" before it starts to look like you're doing it to make me uncomfortable, so please stop" When he ignored me again, I'd just say "BB, you've heard me many times - what do you expect me to do?" .

BB are just enabling him, even Heavy said the other day that Bear's always naughty but gets rewards...

I'm convinced he's going to win. The last few nights there have been little seeds of redemption planted by him (talking to James). His 180° shift will be complete just in time for the final you watch.

It certainly seems to be rigged that way. The others barely even feature .

I liked his comment last night that it's not a 'holiday camp' - he's seeing it (as it is) a job and he's doing what he's been paid to do. And that's not sit on his arse for 3 or so weeks (like Ricky/Katie/James, and Sam to an extent) saying very little.

Yes but you can't discount the tangible effect someone like that can have on one - especially if you can't escape from him and you know you are being watched 24/7 etc.

They have almost given up - like most of us
