Such a shame about Johnny. Sam Strike was great in the role but Ted Riley is clearly struggling.

They're not going to tear the heart out of Mick and Linda's purpose of being on the show. They are characterised by being a closeknit family. If Johnny and Lee were both axed then there would be no point in the Carters whatsoever. Mick and Linda would be adrift without their children.

He is getting better all the time and more accurately depicts Johnny's awkwardness than charismatic Sam did. I don't think he's struggling in the slightest.

The strongest Carters are Shirley, Babe & Linda followed by Mick.

I have met Danny-Boy and he is such a genuinely nice guy. I think it is cruel that you say he should be axed and lose his job. How would you feel it someone said that you should be sacked from your job.

Him and Ted Reilly both seem absolutely lovely and so committed and grateful to being to EE. I do find the fascination on here with axing characters weird at the best of times but recently this place has seemed a bit like a gladiator arena.

Absolutely the OP is brutal in wanting characters axed. I agree Ted Reilly and Danny-Boy Hatchard really appreciate the chance they have been given in EE. Calling for them to lose their job is uncalled for and downright nasty.

They'd be mad to axe Linda, Mick or Shirley but I don't know if Johnny and Lee are relevant anymore but they're likeable. One thing for certain is that no-one is safe from the axe. I don't want Lee and Johnny to leave but they need stronger storylines.

I am looking forward to Lee and Whitney's wedding and the birth of their baby (I hope they don't lose the baby).

My experience on here is that if you happen to say something to a poster who doesn't like you then you can be banned - that's if they are holding a grudge against you.

It's funny that none of us know each other in real life yet virtually some people on here dislike each other. I know for a fact some posters on here can't stand me yet they may have passed me in the Sreet and I would be none the wiser!

I'd kill off Lee and have the Carters still look after Whitney and their grandchild.
I'd then have Johnny get mixed up with something dodgy in relation to his career and eventually sent down.

I doubt anyone really dislikes you vaslav. I see no harm in your posts. Although you do go on about people being axed a lot yet don't like it when anyone suggests Cora should be. (I'm a Cora fan too btw)

There's one or two dodgy ones here (that psycho who sent Ell_Ren PMs pretending to be another user and who has about 8 or 9 accounts) but generally it's a good bunch.

That's the problem I just don't find the stories interesting/engaging at all, they've very much written themselves into a corner with how there portrayed, I do think they could loose several characters from the family and the ones you say are them.

Odd decision to get rid of him before Tina who is the most expendable Carter.

Lee is likeable and DBH is fine in the role. He just needed more focus and a decent storyline. This will also leave Whitney adrift.

Lee's depression could've been a good storyline but it was never explored in any real depth.

Lee is a weak character, surely Tina must be next?

SOC is getting rid of all the deadwood it seems. EastEnders still has a lot of good characters. Planks of wood like Lee aren't needed to pad out the cast.
