He's an attention seeker and this forum posts obsessively about him 24/7, so well done with that.

I still find him very amusing and am even more amused by those on this forum who seem to think the other hms are being genuinely traumatised by Bear chucking food around.

Even if they were, 1984 was all about pushing the limits of what an individual
could tolerate. This programme was never supposed to be a jolly holiday camp where celebs swapped stories and sipped tea while waiting to cash their £150k cheques.

It wasn't supposed to be an arena for a spiteful, damaged nasty man to create havoc, torment and tension for his fellow housemates either and yet that is what this season has been.

And yes, before someone says it, I know this is one more thread but it's pro-Bear. I like him in BB.

I have no problem with another Stephen Bear thread. Allows me to proffer my opinion on how much I loathe the repellent, disgusting little man.

So

I;d be surprpised if Bear got as much as 10% of £150K.

No it wasn't. It was a satirical illustration of the dangers of a totalitarian state. It was about the state machine controlling the populous.

I have to admit that there have been CBBs where I have thought 'what the hell did they get their fee for?' about a 'celebrity' that has done nothing to entertain - but are they in there to 'entertain' or for us to see the true personality of that person in an environment where they don't get to control everything, and cannot 'act' 24/7 - although I am even going to have to go back on myself over that because the Production Team cut and paste what we see.
However, for me I would rather see a more relaxed house than this forced pace of goading by Bear - there have literally been no moments of joy or fun, just 4 people forcing their own agendas:-
Chloe - to further her porn career
Lewis - to further his TV career, whatever he says, he was not popular with the other cast on TOWIE, and that is why he left.
Marnie - to do a Vikki Pattinson and be on other shows, i.e. loose women.
Bear - to never go back to being a roofless roofer
But as you have said before, the public are keeping him in and I cannot deny that.
The upshot of this rambling of mine is that I have not enjoyed this series, it is probably my worst one yet. Apart from Ashleyne who was so far up herself she became a doughnut!

I don't find him amusing per-say but I do find some things about him amusing, if a little uncomfortable too. However there are some posters who hate him so very much that they can't stop posting about him and feeding into the whole Bear attention seeking that they so much despise... oh well

Hey, it's illegal for British people NOT to drink tea Whenever there's a problem, a cuppa always helps.

Whether we are talking about him or not, he's never going to know - he probably doesn't know what a forum is.

We discuss what's happening on the show, he's on the show, he gets talked about. Happens every year - BB put the show on, we talk about it. It's a fairly simple process.

And it's a fairly simple process to pop your name into google and see what pops up and I think we can safely say that someone who is as self-obsessed and hungry for fame and attention as Bear will be doing just that when he comes out of the house and won't he be a happy chap.

I just googled 'Stephen Bear' and not one DS forum thread came up after I went through the first 5 pages - and not many people look beyond Page 1 on Google apparently - so we are safe. Phew He'll be happy at the press coverage though - first page had a lot of reaction from his girlfriend outside. That'll be fun for him.

Well then let's keep it that way! I just hope that he doesn't decide to join the forum after he leaves like some of the other ex-hm's have done

The final third of the novel is a very detailed account of O'Brien torturing Winston with solitary confinement, beatings, rats, electric shocks and more. Just like Ch5 is tormenting the viewers by giving Bear the lion`s share of the edit.

'Sipping tea' is a euphemism for gossiping and all they seem to talk about is Bear.

Alcapo - I wasn't including myself in that comment! I find Bear very entertaining.
