Yeah, that's probably more like the truth of what happens. Also, although the contestants are 'celebs', many of them a less well known and most will face media intrusion at a level that some have never seen before.
Perhaps the ones in soaps and people like Will Young will have a reasonable perception of what's ahead, but it could come as a real shock to others.
So yes I imagine that counselling and guidance is a good idea.
