Cleaning kongs
Just wondered if there is a better way, I use a small bottle brush to get it clean as I can then stick it in the dishwasher. But still the tinier one isn't clean as I would like inside.
Big one no problem that is easy to get clean. |

They do a cleaning brush especially for Kongs, here's the only one I can find in this country though:
http://www.bobtailpets.co.uk/dogs/to...p.html?added=1 The bristles are meant to fit any Kong size, and the lid comes off to get to a smaller brush for the hole in the top of the Kong .

Interesting discussion! It's not something I've generally had a problem with. A good long soak in the sink, in hot water, or maybe from the kettle, with some fairy premium washing liquid tends to dissolve or loosen up whatever gunk is left behind which then washes away under a running tap.
I say fairy premium deliberately, as in my experience is really does meet it's claim of having superior soaking power! |
