Amazon fire tv stick
Someone at work has told me about the amazon fire tv stick, they said download kodi and get access to loads of channels to stream. Has anyone actually done this and if so what is it like?

Check the many posts already on here. I did it on the Fire TV and yes it may work for you.

I did it on two sticks, so I could access content on my NAS. Haven't played about with any of these, erm, 'questionable' streaming channels, though... Quote:

That would be a lot easier for folk if they'd finally fix the ruddy search routine on here. |

I don't see why not.
Streaming kodi to ps3 is one thing but the ps4 is a different beast altogether. |

I haven't bought fire stick because i wanted to see what PQ through kodi is like so I've tried it on pc but its just unwatchable. Picture breaking up all the time. Stream i used was supposed to the best one. If it is then I'd hate to think what others are like.

I use my fire tv stick in my bedroom all of the time i get perfect 1080p via kodi plex and netflix its most likely to be an issues with your wifi connection stream provider or an issue with your fire tv stick

I'm guessing you were watching a dodgy stream via Kodi as there isn't a BT Sport addon for it, this would be why it was unwatchable. As far as BT sports via a PC or Fire Stick there is no comparison, watching the BT Sports Windows app gives me one of the best online streaming pictures I've ever seen (as I've posted about elsewhere on the forum), on the Fire TV Stick its not officially available but quite easy to sideload the Android app onto it, whilst it works well without a hint of buffering the picture quality is several steps down from its Windows counterpart. |

subscribe to a paid sports sub on kodi and you'll be loving it..free ones are pretty poor when a match is on as more people watch and overlaod the servers.
