It will be interesting to see who the duffers go to this time. I can't imagine Artem will be happy if Gleb slots into the pecking order above him and ends up getting a ringer, but it sounds like they went all out to get him so it would be a bit odd to waste him on a first week exit (all that could be made up by the Sun of course

I think in the US the pay is better and the wife can look for work and even if she doesn't earn much Gleb's pay will be enough for the family to live on. BBC only pay £32k and they would have needed a guaranteed second income to relocate family UK and may be it was too much risk. It was always about the family living in one place.

Makes sense. I can't blame Gleb and Elena as they stand to make money and promote themselves further. Frankly I would rather Gleb be on DWTS than hawking a trashy calendar, which is what his 2017 one appears to be becoming.
I will miss him but hope it goes well for him as a dancer and that the family have a more settled base.

I'm not surprised, and don't blame him. I never thought his stint on strictly was a long term one. He's always been eager to be on DWTS.
As a pro I hope ? and YAY if true , Good for him

Yes there is a order but Gleb was extremely popular; him leaving was never his choice. People will be delighted that he is back; I believe that he will turn out to be even more popular than Artem, Keo and Mark. No doubts about that.
Especially with Derek gone.

Yes; The pay is way higher on Dwts than it is on strictly; I cant remember exactly how much (I forgot ) but it's way higher than what the pros on strictly are getting; especially for the amount of work they do.

the celebs get between 80-350k in USD depending how long they stay in so if you work it out in GBP and look at how much they get paid for SCD (42.5K I believe) the pay is higher. but I'm guessing the pros will get something like the 1st amount I mentioned above. also if they pay more and do 2 series a year over there they are well more loaded in 12 months doing 2 seasons in the US than they are doing 1 SCD. Len gets 150K for SCD per series I'm aware of and they offered him 3 million for 1 DWTS series so for 1 series and less work that's 20 years SCD wage& its better weather there so all the reasons are against staying on SCD when you get offered DWTS
I may be wrong, but didn't Pasha turn down DWTS before then doing SCD? I wonder what his reasons were as I don't think I've heard of anyone else turning them down.

I watch it through Kodi and Exodus on my fire stick maybe try googling that, sorry I can't be more useful it was all set up for me I'm useless with all this new tech.

I know it's Dan Wootton in The Sun, but the article mentions that DWTS provide accommodation for the dancers. Do Strictly not do that then? I seem to recall reading on here that Giovanni lived with Joanne for a while last year, so I'm assuming they don't? Very poor if that's the case. They could at the very least put them up in a hotel.
BTW, lots of people watch US programes through a dodgy stick. My Dad does, and my brother cancelled Sky because he didn't need it anymore, They use Amazon Fire

Artem was given a ringer -LEA THOMPSON in his first season.. who had tons of dance experience, a pretty iconic actress & very well known to the show's demographic.. yet couldn't make it to the finals.. because Artem failed to utilize her talent or bring out dances to make her a standout among the rest.
The truth is, Artem or the other SCD pro's choreography isn't all that when compared to the other top DWTS pros.. the choreography & creativity in DWTS US is much better..

I think Strictly does provide accommodation for the pros who aren't based here. When they used to do those 'Strictly Cribs' segments they all seemed to be in very similar serviced apartments. (Perhaps you can take an allowance as an alternative and stay with your mates to save a few quid
, or maybe Giovanni's accomodation was in Manchester and he stayed with Joanne at other times?? 
). As for DWTS, they do provide apartments for the pros and celebs (but not usually for the whole family
), but I remember a couple of seasons ago Karina's celebrity paid for an apartment for her close to training from his own pocket because she was so far away and arriving at work exhausted from having to leave home at ridiculous o'clock, so not sure the grass is always greener...

I've watched two of Artem and Lea's dances - salsa and jive - and she's not great imo, especially in the jive where she lacked bounce. Artem was never a favourite of mine and seemed mercurial with his partners but he was a good choreographer.
I have to say that from the YT vids I've seen I disliked DWTS very, very much. I will watch the vids with Gleb but I hope SCD never adopts the 'creativity' of DWTS ...

She's not that great in those dances because Artem failed to make her great.. even though she should have been, considering how much dance training she had.. Artem couldn't even fix her posture problem throughout the entire season..
Artem maybe a good choreographer for SCD's standard..but pales in comparison to DWTS's top pros super creative & spectacular choreography..
& yeah, don't worry ..SCD can NEVER adopt DWTS's creativity..because they aren't creative enough & their choreography is very limited.. so you can relax
