I thought she was terrific there - he deliberately went over there to goad her and he got more than he bargained for.

I believe she told the story about her grandmother because it would be in all the papers - as it has been - anyway. Best thing is to get it out there first.

Don't get me wrong, heavy is a moron, but he did say a few good points (x-factor, no opinions) which obviously riled Katie.
It was slightly ironic that he was mocking her celebrity status though.

The only decent thing she said was the comment about her Gran. (It is totally why I remembered Katie)”

She had loads to say to him. Took him down over his attitude, his comments towards women, his attempt to belittle her and her 'celeb status'. She answered him back on everything and put him right in his place.

It's funny so many criticising her for being vocal when previously criticising her for NOT being vocal (much as Heavy was really!). She can't win really.

I thought she did well for herself and certainly won both battles... Then again, to be engaged in a verbal confrontation with Heavy and fail would exceed mortification. He looks and sounds like an industrial sized deflating beach ball.

Of course, but if Katie felt that way she should have gone off at Heavy D days and days ago, but noo she chooses to do it when he is up.

Well he was the one who approached her, purely to dig at her. She was sat happily chatting to some other people when he came along bleating on about riding on coat tails or something. It wasn't as if she sought him out purely to shout at him - he was goading her, as he's been doing with people for the last few days.

ETA: All of which I imagine was done by him because he was up for eviction!

She didn't answer the questions or respond to his points, she deflected them, which is not the same thing. It is the equivalent of saying "I know you are, but what am I?" Or "Takes one to know one".

She also was very shouty (stooping to his level you may say), she may have said a couple decent points, but shouting rarely gets the point across, no matter how valid.

She would have 'slayed him' if she had remained calm and spoken to him in the say way as Ricky has in the past.

In all honesty they should have put Katie's Gran in the house instead.

It's funny because it's true.

Maybe so, but he's gone, and is no longer there, and it's now moot. Katie has been more or less flying under the radar since day 1.

She did it when Heavy D deliberately sat outside and goaded and goaded and goaded her and wouldn't stop.

To be fair.

Weren't you watching - he was shouting loudly (some may say talking very loudly, but to me it sounds like shouting because it is so loud) and asking her questions but not allowing her to answer. She tried several times, but he wasn't interested in having her answer his points. She had to raise her voice to be heard, as she clearly said he wasn't allowing her to answer and yet he was saying she doesn't talk or opine. It's hard to in the face of somebody shouting in your face like that!

Well no, you never know because it's edited, which is why we come on here and discuss what we are shown/what we see. We can't discuss what we don't see

He certainly hit a sore point ,with his ...You're not really Famous line and no longer Current ,just an X-Factor reject waffle ..to make her break her cover in there and go off on one like she did

Yet I, who would fail in GCSE popular culture, knew who she was and I don't watch X Factor. I have no idea who he is or what he was on.

It's not actually true though, and even if it was, it would be being famous for being a prostitute and being in adult films which depict in Katie's words "a 22 year old banging my 83 year old Grandma up the arse".

That's not really a winning comeback either way imo
