I thought Ricky told Bear exactly what he thought of him in several sentences...yet Bear said he hasn't heard one opinion from him. I've only been dipping in on and out of the show so I'm doubting my memory now.

Yeah bizarre the narrative that Bear is trying to create. Ricky has been perfectly clear how low his opinion of Bear is every single day they've been in there. Just because he isn't bouncing off the walls like an attention deprived quarter wit doesn't mean he isn't entertaining.

I don't care what Bear said his reasons were, Bear was putting people up who had never been up before, as simple as that.

I am, however, disgusted with both Renee and Katie nominating him. He has supported both of them at various times in the house. Just because he doesn't scream, shout and swear like a banshee he''s not giving his opinion.

ETA: I think what Bear doesn't seem to understand, or want to understand - or even pretends not to understand - is that people are avoiding him because he makes them uncomfortable, tense and annoys the living shit out of them. For this reason they hang out in another part of the house, where they can converse and make friendships with people.

He's alienated himself so he really doesn't know what they talk about, how much they talk, what they have to say, what their opinions are, because they are avoiding his presence as much as possible.

He knows this of course.

Indeed. Bear seemed to hear him loud and clear at the time, but has conveniently forgotten all of that now. I have also heard Ricky express opinions on subjects such as animal conservation - of course only on live feed, and only to people capable of having a thought in their heads, such as James Whale. There would be little point in expressing opinions on such matters to Bear.
