A 35 yr old would have been 5 when her hit record was in the charts. You are not quite in the right era. I would say you'd need to be at least 40 - 45 to be in the right era.

I'm getting fed up with Sam and her endless self congratulation on how adored she is, but the BRIT disaster wasn't her fault. The autocue went AWOL. Sam and Mick Fleetwood hadn't met prior to the show. They basically had to improvise on the spot. They didn't know the running order of the award categories, when live performances were starting or even which performer was next on stage. Mick F spoke about it afterward and he said they were both shitting themselves, it was the most terrifying experience of his career.

I didn't say it was her fault. But the truth of why it was such a disaster coming out 20 years after the fact wasn't much help to her. I lived through that time and overnight she went from being a popular celeb who would appear on various quiz and panel shows to the TV wilderness. Like I say, she didn't recover from it.
