The only thing I didn't like about Katie's argument was that she clearly feels she's above Heavy D, or better than him and openly said as much, that's just not a nice trait. Notwithstanding that he was being a dick.
She is above him when he is behaving like that

He's slightly plump but he actually is quite handsome.
He is not plump he is obese.

Yes he has a child which Katie clearly referred to in a rather underhand way.
She did, nasty bitch that she is. She is the one who brought her prozzie granny into it too.

Your woman went with Heavy?

Lol.. any woman obviously. I can't get my head round it. Imagine fancying that big balloon. Not because if how he looks. He's not fun. He has no personality. What can he offer anybody?

Blimey, that's a bit pot-kettle!

You obviously approve of Heavy sneering at her being a has-been, looking down on her past and asking what on earth she was doing on CBB (he being such a well-known superstar and all ).

I imagine she knows that most people know about her grandmother. It was brought up on these very forums about 2 days into CBB and, as previously said, has been on TV several times - so more famous than Heavy indeed

She's nothing to be ashamed of, after all none of us is responsible for the actions of our relatives, especially those older than us.

Perhaps it was sperm donation

ETA: I am sure he had said earlier in the series that he'd never been with anybody, but perhaps that was just Lewis being condescending and nasty and making an assumption.

I think the point she was trying to make before he got offended was that he wouldn't like to see a guy treat/speak to/go for his daughter in the same way he was carrying on with her.

His wind ups are childish and pathetic. I almost wish lewis had decked him cos it's a nasty, goading style of attitude he has and he seems to think there's nowt wrong with being that way but way too thick to realise that Bear doesn't really like him but uses him as an extension of his own dirty work
She wasn't calling his daughter. Just reminding him that he'd be furious if some big oik was talking to her like he did to Katie.

Sometimes the truth hurts.

I did LOL at how Heavy D thought he was "current".

I've never seen or heard of him before...that's how "current" he is

She is above him. So are many invertebrates. Good riddance.
They are all letting the cat out of the bag regarding no contact before the show & no one knowing who else is going in. I can't really believe that Heavy knew from memory how long ago Katie had been on BGT or what had happened unless he looked it up beforehand. Similarly, why would Katie know about Heavy's daughter? I suppose it's possible they may have talked about it in the house at some point but Heavy can't remember people's names that he has lived with for 2 weeks let alone timeline of Katie's tv appearances.

We know that some of them share the same agent. We know that Lewis & Marnie knew each other and also Heavy & Lewis. Chloe talked about contacting other HMs before the show. It is becoming farcical.

Of course they talk in the show, we just don't get shown any of it! Live Feed shows that clearly. We see 48 or so minutes of a 24 hour day, what else do they have to do BUT talk.

She's mentioned several times - even that's been aired - how long ago it is since she was on the X Factor. I wouldn't have known if she hadn't said it because I haven't read up about that myself.

Heavy has spent time with the 'other' group (the bedroom group as I call them ) and I imagine that, at some point, they've talked about their families. Renee's mentioned her son more times than I can remember.

I do doubt that Katie, living and working in the USA, has had previous contact with Heavy D in any shape or form

I know people love a conspiracy but, even being managed by the same manager (as I'm sure many people in Hollywood are who have never met) doesn't mean they are buddies beyond the CBB house. People do meet at celeb/zeleb events and it's a very small circle, so they are bound to bump into each other at things - even at the Reality TV Awards!

There was a row. Fatty D brought her grandmother into it. It was hardly a secret but he was the one who opened the bag containing the cat. The Americans were unaware of the reference and why he was attacking Katie's grandmother. Either Katie tells them herself or says nothing and allows Fatty D to fill in the blanks. Either way the cat was emerging from the bag, that much was obvious.

LOL I just realised I called Heavy D, Fatty D throughout that post. And as you have quoted there is no point me editing. I am sure he wouldn't mind be wrongly named in the slightest and he has given himself a silly name.
Prrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I have to admit I didn't notice

I believe it's also the name of a now deceased rapper - whether Heavy knew that or not I don't know. Didn't somebody reference it on the show? Mind you, who cares

I have struggled to remember Boom Boom's name. When I hear it I am reminded of a character in an Enid Blyton series read as a child. One of the characters was Frederick Algernon Trottville - hence Fatty.

Heavy D is indeed a rapper now deceased. Well respected and pretty damn good. he died of DVT back in 2011.

I was disappointed to hear that the twonk Colin had used his monika even more so after hearing his attempts at rapping

WTF! He slobbers. He has stains of slobber all over his chins. His psychopath eyes and his 'not all there' demeanour attracted a female? Was she sane? or was she on day release from the 'facility'? Imagine that slobbering beast climbing on top of you.
He's as handsome as an 19th century freak show exhibit.
Really ott unpleasant.

3 points re Heavy D (my opinions)
1. He was not as unperceptive as people think (choose to think) and made some pretty sharp deductions & remarks at times.
2. Yes he demonstrated traits of being rather easily led, I'm generalising here but that quite likely stems imo from behaviours learned early on - ie needing to fit in, & probably by extension be the patsy of, leader-boys & school 'packs', to evade being turned on. It's the Lewises that create these kind of behaviours but the Heavy D's that go on to pick up the criticism, in my observation.
3. Even if you judge him to be less intelligent than any given benchmark - intelligence is a spectrum and where you are in that spectrum, give or take, is not of your own choosing. I never understand why 'stupid' is an accusation levelled at people as if that's something they opted into? You can improve your behaviour & learn of course but some skills will not be naturally at your fingertips.

Re the using his daughter in an argument - I understand why people thought it was a fair point of Katie's - but when it's done with that schoolteacher-y 'your mother should be ashamed of you' slant, it's never going to go down well, fair point or not. She was rather casting around for things to chuck at him and I agree with Jim-Bob5's earlier post here.

She said nothing derogatory about his daughter. She just asked him how he would feel if someone spoke to his daughter the way he was speaking to her which was a perfectly acceptable point but he is too dim to realise that and took it as some personal attack. The man is just a buffoon
