This is just one example of his extremely selective memory. Ricky and Sam have both made it clear what they think of him. It's the fact that Bear knows Ricky and Sam HATE him that's made him nominate them, nothing more.

You're right, he is actually quite sensitive about who nominates him. It was a little hypocritical knocking Sam for her reaction. Plus his nominating style was very goading. Amusing viewing though, not gonna lie.

Sam was furious, sure. But she at least made an attempt to keep cool and calm and didn't try and stop those who nominated her from talking to her forever!

I don't blame Bear for getting upset, just his hypocrisy and lies when he suggests he never let being nominated bother him.
