EOTB is the most scripted rubbish I have ever seen.

I like them, maybe I'm a sucker for romance, but this one seems real to me.
I hope they make it.
There are a LOT of obstacles though, not least, her day job, which means she cannot have a BF.

Ouch!!

I agree......How can anyone be themselves when they're joined at the hip with another....totally ridiculous.... I'm sure they'll both live to regret it once they reaise they could have had so much fun just being themselves.....!!!

1. BIB: Why indeed ?

2. Answer is probably the same to this question :

Why would anyone flap their b@lls around and model this , and ensure EVERYOne gets a look-in ???

I agree, but the thing Lewis esp is doing it on purpose, keeping saying how Marnie is his best friend in there bla bla bla

This video proves how Marnie just doesn;t want to budge either..

Genuine question. I just don't get it.”

To answer your question on a serious note I read an article where Gemma Collins (of CBB and TOWIE) explained that what happens is that the producers talk to them a lot about what they are doing in their lives, then they set up situations and ask them to talk about things, eg. a certain relationship that's in trouble, gossip, whatever. What comes out of their mouths isn't scripted, but situations are created for 'dramatic purposes'.

Amy Childs put it this way: "All the characters are all real. They'll just put us in scenes and they might say for example, me and Sam [Faiers] will have to talk about Mark [Wright] and then Mark comes in, so they'll set up the scene, but it's all real.

"Everyone thinks it's scripted but it's not at all. It's exactly how we are."

"A rep for the programme at the time said: "Nothing is faked; we are following an ongoing story and allowing all parties a right to reply. None of the cast are forced to say anything on camera.""

That's as much as I can deduce about this particular show (TOWIE) at least.

No. It's way too contrived.

Same here, it's amazing how quick you can get through it when you FF the Lewis and Marnie farce.

This is exactly what happens but the anti-reality brigade on here will carry on insisting that the cast read from scripts and that all the under duvet action in GS is fake.

Towie etc would be better if they did't put them in set up situations, secret cameras in home would be more realistic. LIKE BB
I bet the real life Towie behind closed doors is more exciting than the rubbish on screen.
Half the Towie and Chelsea lot are addicts for a start.

And if you FF Bore on top of that - nothing left to watch except the adverts - which also feature Bore . A Bore-fest in every sense of the word

Thank you Muggins 14 for taking the time to reply to my question, which was indeed genuine!

Even if their feelings of love/lust genuine, it's hard to look past the contrived nature of their dialogue. It's so corny that it's hard to take seriously. Knowing they've met before the show and I think it's been claimed they share an agent (I could be wrong), there's always the suspicion that this relationship is primarily for the money or media attention.

I'm not particularly enjoying watching them. As I said, even if they're completely head over heels in love, they're not charming enough to have me care about them and both have behaved horribly that I find them both wholly unlikeable.
