It could be good if you took out the 'clownish' electronic sounds which are probably the work of 'Sons of Sonix' and are terminally uninteresting.

I interrupted listening to Code I's album 'A Deep Red' which sounds like it was made in a different sonic universe compared to the 'Sonix' crew.

Mel C is the featured vocalist but for me it sounds like a cheap copy of Middle by DJ Snake feat. Bipolar Sunshine in the backing music.

Listen to Middle, then listen to Numb and it's painfully obvious. Also is it just me or are the beats, synths and vocal effects all out of sync? It sounds weird.

I love Melanie and her voice, but I don't feel the dance thing works for her. She is much better at rock/acoustic and ballads.

I think one of her problems is she switches too much between styles, that no one knows what kind of artist she is anymore. It's confusing.

I think she needs to find her own style that suits her voice and stick with that.

If you look at the more successful artists, they change somewhat but they have a sound that people associate with them that makes them who they are.
