Thought that was a sweet little moment between Bear and Renee, because he knows he's done her wrong in the past....can't believe I'm saying this but I actually get him now. Been peeing me off all series and last night the penny dropped, outstanding housemate...nominations-brilliant

Best celeb housemate since Channel 5 took the show over IMO.

He's a silly attention seeking, spiteful, nasty little boy who lacks the mental capacity to apologise for all his nastiness..

I think Bear just appreciates HMs who aren't afraid to share emotions and opinions, he knows that she's contributing to the show - unlike some of the others.

I guess it's all down to opinion but one thing for sure is that Bear is very experienced in this sort of TV genre and seems to know how to get people talking (Positive or Negative). So maybe he is one of the "better" housemates in CBB Ch5 era....(have not watched all of them so cannot really judge myslef)

Exactly and I get him and heavy d now also, they were becoming a little double act, although heavys a bit of a follower he was almost as fearless about 'rufflin feathers' as Bear. The Katie thing was pure entertainment for them both with the objective to get a rise. It's not 'nice' but it is a show! He was clearly gutted when heavy went a rare glimpse of his genuine feelings.

Until the next time he turns on her.
Bear's game plan is very clear now. Hijack the show by behaving atrociously and winding other HMs up to the point that they just close down, like Ricky and Frankie have. He had the fauxmance, shocking antics, fights, everything to hog the airtime. Now we are approaching the final, his tactics will change. He will start building bridges and being the cheeky, loveable, misunderstood rogue and the HMs will be so relieved not to be being under attack, they will forgive and say he's not so bad. Consequently, he will probably romp home to the winner's place, come the end.
Has his strategy worked? Absolutely yes, which I suppose makes him a good HM in many people's eyes. For me, he has ruined BB. I never got to see all the HMs and enjoy their interactions because it became the Bear Show. I know Ricky, Frankie, Aubrey and Renee could have been entertaining, but their chance was stolen from them. Because Bear's management team have played a strategy which almost guarantees Bear wins, I hope he doesn't. I would love that honour to go to a genuine person.

Entirely DISAGREE. The "you're alright" comment was meant as "you won't be evicted yet" -
this was clear because bear was talking about who had voted for who, and he was calculating the way the noms would go from now on. It was NOTHING to do with him making up with Renee - even tho she wrongly perceived it that way.
Am I the only one who saw it like that? To me it was so obvious

Well you don't exactly know that for certain, Bear is only one guy. All they have to do is fight fire with fire and wind him up back but they're scared.

No, I think it was just genuinely a nice moment. However Bear isn't allowed to have them is he?

You sound worried that you might find Bear likeable.

Don't worry, though, BB has a history of bores winning, so James, Ricky or Sam could romp home at the end.

Easier said than done. The only HM unpleasant enough to fight fire with fire was Heavy and he was working alongside Bear. Most people would find it impossible to behave the way Bear is, because they are decent people who would feel very uncomfortable causing distress and upset to others.

I find Bear intriguing, in the same way I find serial killers, but likeable may be pushing it. I wouldn't want to see James, Ricky or Sam to win, as they haven't done enough to deserve it. Renee, Aubrey and Frankie have been visible and vocal without resorting to the theatrics that Bear has, so I would like an American to win this time.

It's been such a strange series, dominated by a load of fake antagonistic crap that I don't really know who I'd like to see win. I don't really like anyone based on what we've been allowed to see. Aubrey maybe?

His redemption has begun and people are falling for it

I thought it was sweet too before I caught myself on and realised how effed up it is that anyone would appear to bask in delight at Bear's approval. Weird.

very true, BB would step in anyway, if they were all behaving like Bear they wouldn't have a house or any food left
