Well to be fair she is pretty famous. Anyone over 30 who grew up in the UK knows who Sam Fox is. As for salt of the earth, I am not sure that is what she seeks to portray. I think she is just trying to act like a working class girl from Mile End, rather than to try portray herself as an uptown girl from Chiswick. I am not sure how one maintains one's "common" roots after one has become a millionarie.

They haven't been themselves at all - they are well practiced in the art of 'reality TV' and are simply doing what their day job is.

I believe Sam is being herself and obviously trying to portray herself in a positive way which is what any of us do in every day life don't we?

TBH - I worry for the long term sanity of these 'reality' stars - I think they will develop personality disorders eventually as they lose the ability to know when TV ends and real life starts. Gemma Collins is a prime example - she hasn't a clue who the real 'her' is.

I think Sam knows exactly who she is and is comfortable in her own skin.
