Were watching a 'supposed' reality TV show

Were a group of people co exist.

Editing 24 hours down to one hour a day means two things.

Those making the most noise will get the screen time

Those being real and honest will be deemed 'boring' because they will get NO Screentime.

So what you are left with in the highlights is one hour of fake, obnoxious, scripted crap that people think is entertaining.

What normal person acts the way Bear does?

The danger here is that people will now associate that behaviour with honesty and realness, when in fact bear is the most FALSE and FAKE one in there

The loudest is never the most honest

Somehow being nasty, obnoxious, loud, irritating and aggressive is being haled over honesty, likability, friendliness and humorous.

it is 10000000% reflection on the people who watch and vote. We are now a society of obnoxious, loud, vulgar, vain and petty people who thrive off fakeness and negativity.

Evidently Sam and Ricky have had their own storylines in the house, theres just no way they couldn't


Theirs have been real, and natural. But that whats BB is all about. It doesn't need to be all cannons blazing every night.

You're right and it's the direction they've chosen for BB which is a real shame because many years ago it was a great programme.

You're also right about how horrible values and behaviour has been championed as 'keeping it real' with no respect given to 'being a decent person'.

It's all highly structured nowadays too with prefabricated storylines, romances and character development arcs.

It's a million miles away from what it should be and it's sad to watch.

Their particular final push starts tonight given what clips were shown on SOTS last night, so its inevitable the journey/redemption storyline is coming which helped she who has been banned over the finish line

Ratings are increasing though, over 1 million people have viewed the preview clip of Bear being confronted by his ex gf. It seems that lots of people are interested.

Honestly, I think a lot of people see Stephen's behaviour, winding people up, being deliberating annoying and think 'yeah, I could do that, that looks like fun' then we get people like 'god' michael signing up.

Whereas, Bear in particular, is treating it exactly like some low i.q idiot male Brit in his mid-twenties who goes off to Europe during the summer and just trashes the places, acts a fool, and doesn't have any respect for the place or people.

I will be honest, this series for me has been shocking. The only one I like is obviously Bear, I cant stand the Lewis/Marnie thing. They need a better balance of characters. Like you said for the all stars series it would be great to get the villains and heroes back as that would satisfy most viewers. Even the "nice" people people in this series are a bit snakey. James nominating Aubrey and Katie nominating Ricky shows that none of them are particularly close.

Even the reene, aubrey and frankie diary room chat last night felt fake there is no way they would of forgiven bear that quickly and moved on after the way he has treated them, i know frankie hasnt and he has had far less confllict with bear than the other two.

The whole thing stinks of conspiracy, fakeness and intervention

This is not Big Brother, this is a hubrid of an Ex/Geordie/Towie type of show with some other "celebs" as extras.

Bear has survived 3 eviction so they will be thinking he is popular. So the obvious move would be to get on his good side.

She seems to like 'bad boys' who will only ever end up making her life a misery.

Also did anybody else notice that the crowd were booing Bear the whole of the last eviction show, yet when they crossed to the house the crowd suddenly started cheering for him?
