But Ste just has to look stoned and lustfully at young boys surely freddie could do that?
Nope, he can only do

Seriously, though...appalling actor. How on earth was he nominated as best actor....

I think the actor makes a lot of the character
Totally!

hes considered to be pretty, so people are swayed, rather than looking at acting skills, its looks (and he does nothing for me at all) so many better actors on the show, I dont overly rate Ste either

The actor who plays Freddie was nominated best actor? 😳 Give me stength!

I'd love to see Gregory nominated next year.

I don't find him pretty at all.

I find Kieron quite a capable actor, and very easy on the eyes. Too bad his character is somewhat burnt out.

I dont find him that good, he often seems a bit lazy

I especially don't like Kieran's gestures eg the scene with Warren about Joel teaming up with Brendan. I wsh they had developed the character when Brendan left. He wanted to buy the club and he had experience of running a business. They just regressed the character back to chave status. I wonder what this change in career will be. I could see him as a male lap dancer as he has beefed up. I see he has now gone back to being pretty after the attempt at scruff.

I was thinking about why a 30 something intelligent man would be so swayed by his mother. When James was a child he might have caused or been led to believe he caused a death. Then all his mum would have to do is refer to him ' as not a caring type' etc.

Also James Sutton had acting workshops... I don't think this means he is quitting HO. But who knows, when the next character cull happens he could be axed...I wouldn't cry about it, to be honest!!

Not that I have anything against Ross. It's Scott I have something against! haha

Sounds as though he is busy though. I just can't see how they will use him from now on. I see there is an article saying fans want Ste with Ryan. I read on tumblr one blogger saying they might axe Parry after his antics.

I wouldn't mind if Harry was written out (or at least if they found him a more suitable partner).

Ste/Ryan would be interesting, I guess...but Ste would hit a new low (if that's even possible)!! Stealing Amy's boyfriend... it would have devastating consequences (at least temporarily, nothing in HO really sticks long-term) on their relationship, and that wouldn't be good for Leah and Lucas... which is why HO will probaly do it!

I'm looking forward to the credits. 😂 As for points of view week, I think it has the potential to be gripping. I actually don't mind the story. It's just Nico that irritates me. The story shouldn't have dragged so long. The Cameron story could do with tieing at up too.

I do think HO is finally turning a corner though. 2016 is shaping up to be much better than 2015 ever was.

Can't wait to see our boys on screen though. I know I'm biased but James's background story has the most potential right now. Character driven stories over serial killers any day of the week

Hi all. I hope you dont mind me joining in. Im a big JP/James fan or should i call them McNight ☺. I hope these 2 have a future. Gregory has made me hopeful with his quotes.

Have you all seen the new spoilers from the metro of next week? It's Mac + Neetas wedding but Marnie tries to wreck it and James gets involved. As that's going on JP brings round the money James has given him for an eye op which he'll feel is out of guilt and sees something going on with James/Marnie/Mac. Sounds intriguing. This obviously leads to James confiding JP over his past.

Oh I wonder what JP over hears?

I think it may be that Mac was violent to James when he was younger ....?

It also looks like JP is still blind which suits me. This week sounds interesting.

I hope that the shocking discovery about James isn't that violent Mac used to hit him when he was a child....that would be extremely boring and banal. And also I hope it's not that Mac used to sexually abuse James, we have had already too much of that with Brendan and Aaron.

But I struggle to come up with viable alternative theories...

It better not be sexual abuse. That is too much repetition.

I think violent Mac is likely but I do think James being so damaged is more interesting with his mum manipulating him than mac's fists. At least with Marnie it gives us something different as we don't often see psychological abuse in soap.

JP must overhear James and Mac talk about Marnie. It's her who seems to be the damaged one . She has used James as a prop.

Interesting that after James rejected John Paul he still offers him money for an operation. Guess he can't keep away!

I'm intrigued about these spoilers, I hope the reveal is something a bit different. Since James hits the bottle he must be drunk when he confides in John Paul, I'm looking forward to seeing that!

!
I was expecting that to happen. Since JP likely doesn't want anything to do with James right now, the only way James has to approach him is to offer him some help, of the monetary kind. Which is probably also the only way James knows to deal with stuff...to throw money at it.

James's heart is in the right place, but JP obviously won't accept that easily.
