I think the whole episode will be very nightingale heavy. We'll have Mac/Neeta/Marnie, Alfie/Jade and also JP/James. The Donovan's I hope are just a small side story. I really hope we get some lengthy monologues from James about his past. I love that he is able to talk to John Paul about this. There is a real connection there.

I know James said to his mum that he and JP were not compatible but you can't help who you fall for. Though I think they are matched in a lot of ways, both intelligent men who are quite worldly. What seperates them is probably thier demeanour and overall outlook. Take Carter for example. Also a lawyer but very snotty and pretensious . Those are some traits that James possesses to a degree but they are not good together. There is no positive influence. Where as JP, he's very much easy going, family focused, kind-hearted and tries to be honest and noble. I think it's those sort of traits that James finds just as enticing as JP lust for James's inability to follow the rule book. It's like yin and yang.

I can just imagine if/ when they are a proper couple James visiting JP in school hours and getting up to something not so proper. 😂 Yeah i have an active imagination. I was a chryed fan after all. 😀

He is saying that to try and convince himself. Deep down he knows that he has fallen for JP and that he wants to give it a try, but he his held back by the walls he has built around himself (mostly thanks to Marnie's influence), so he is trying to fight his feelings. You can see it in his face while he is talking to his mom. Telling himself that they are not compatible, that it would have been a huge mistake and that it would have ended in certain disaster is his way of protecting himself (and maybe in his mind also JP) from the possibility of getting hurt by actually allowing their feelings to become a real thing.

However, he is not doing a great job of fighting these feelings...as soon as Marnie gave him the green light, he didn't hesitate to make a move to try and get JP back.

Yeah I noticed that too. It just shows how much influence his mum has on him. Her opinion is like gospel to him. I really don't like how she knows to pull his strings.

I agree totally, he doesnt want to hurt JP I think more than himself, and wants whats best for JP, which is no Scott and now not him either, he thinks hes toxic to everyone so must be alone for them

Always better than me. At least you don't have to hope that some kind soul beyond the Channel uploads it. With various channels uploading only incomplete parts (either leaving out JP's parts, or James parts when they are not related to the McNight storyline) or other channels uploaing 2-3 days later, you never know if/when/how you will be able to watch the newest episode.

I follow a lot of American and British tv series too, but in that case I'm happy to wait until the following day to watch it. It's always been like that!! But with the British soaps, waiting for the episodes to pop up is painful!! I inevitably get spoiled because I can't resist reading the forum, and I can't really partecipate to the discussions properly cos I haven't seen it. And I get frustrated all the time!! Hahah

If it wasn't for the internet, I would still be condemned to watching the awful, backwards and bigoted Italian tv, where the pope is on screen all the time, the quality of the shows is laughable, and gay people don't exist.

Luckily the internet saved me and let me have ways to indulge my love of LGBT storylines, and to access dozens of wonderful shows from all over the world. May the internet live forever.

On topic, I too hope James and JP have consisistent screen time tomorrow...but I won't hold my breath. The things I am interested in always seem to be relegate dto filler to most prominent storylines (which I usually couldn't care less about).

I know what you mean. 😑 As for JP and James tomorrow, the spoilers do seem to be very tight lipped about them, which suggests something gets revealed. I think it's possible that we may be have all overthought it and it probably won't be anything major. It could be that his dad used to beat him as a child because he used to protect his
mum from one.

Why would it be terminated? Do you think he had just had enough? I was really upset when Moira Barton stopped uploading the Robron clips but I guess it must get a bit much if they are in just about every episode.
