I do think it will be November before we actually see some James and John Paul stuff.

One thing I am surprised about is how advancem HO film. I was under the impression that it was 6-8 weeks like eastenders but it really looks like 10-12 weeks. The snaps of Mercedez wedding came out 2 months ago.

I'm actually quite excited about this, I hoped that they would team up, they're just such different people it will be interesting to watch them play off one another, considering they have such an important thing in common despite their differences.

For me, that's why I'm also looking forward to seeing then interact. They're chalk and cheese. In the past, James hasn't had much time for her as he's always seen her as this airhead barmaid who just happens to be with his dad. I remember him being a bit cold towards Rachel too because they were mearly a unnecessary extension to his family. Now, I can see a bit of mutual understanding building between himself and Neeta because they are the only ones to know what Mac is truly like and they've now got that in common. I think it's also likely that Neeta will have earned James's respect by having the courage to leave his father.

If there's a big fallout over Joanne meddling in Mercedes' love life, it will be interesting to see if JP and James end up on opposing sides. James is Joanne's only real ally and obviously JP would side with his sister. Probably won't happen, but it would be fun if it did!

That would be interesting but I don't think the writers have any intention of intertwining JP and James over to this particular story. I doubt JP will even find out that James helped Joanne in getting his sister behind bars. It's annoying but block story telling without real cohesion is the shows most glaring problem at the minute.

Absolutely, its interesting because it says in the brief spoiler I read on here that James helps Neeta against Mac? If Mac finds out, that's going to aggravate him even more and turn him even more against James, it could be the start of the battle between them, knowing that James is supporting Neeta against him. I actually like Neeta, it'll be nice for James to have someone else on his side.

See now, in a better soap there would be consequences in his relationship for that. JP is a McQueen and if you mess with one, you mess with them all! It's ridiculous that they would just gloss over what James did to his sister like this.

Mercy and JP have always been close and its been 1 of HO's successful relationships. We saw it last night on e4 after the wedding fallout that its still there. I really wish we'd see it more often. The James/Joanne thing would be the best time to explore that closeness with both sticking up for each other against their scheming. I'd like to see JP show his disdain for Joanne and James try to.defend her but JP's not for turning. Plus I would have been nice to see Mercy have a go at James last week instead of asking him for a drink. I guess HO aren't going to explore it but it would've been nice. But Mercy and JP have always been close and still get shown to be when the need arises tbh like last night.

I wish we saw it more often too because last night came after such a long time. They hardly interact these days. I know Mercedes has her drama with Joe but John Paul is still her brother. When JP went blind, we didn't see them share a single scene together but like I said before, this is what happens with block story telling. It's really frustrating. Had it not been Mercys wedding yesterday - which required JP to be there, we wouldn't have even got that scene. It would have been someone else comforting her.

At the moment on tumblr there are more people doing Jarry gifsets than people doing McNight stuff.. I guess all Jarry shippers are nested on Tumblr.

I hope more McNight stuff appears once their storyline resumes. Unfortunately I can't help on that department. I used to do a lot of fan art back in the day (I did tons of McDean stuff, for example), but then my pc with photoshop on it died, and I was never able to get another copy of the software, so I stopped. Sometimes I really miss it.

Thanks but unfortunately its saying video is unavailable which is a shame. I can watch 'crazy in love' vid though and its great. I've saved it to my faves. It's a shame I can't view the 'half light' one.
