This was weird but I do understand how it has arrived here. They have slept together and JP acknowledged that they had a connection. Both of them have said they cared about the other. JP softened when he heard about the abuse. JP had keys when James was cooking for him.
I don't think they are living together, I just think JP likes James too much to be difficult about the bet. He tells Nathan he knows what James can be like but knows why he has acted that way. I think if they were living together James would take the young chap to a hotel. JP must walk in and James wants him to see him out of spite because he essentially is still a little boy.

Yeah, I know...but I hate waiting until tomorrow. The sad truth is that there isn't anyone uploading HO anymore, in the past there used to always be at least one channel that uploaded the new episode in the same night.

I guess the show really doesn't have as active a fandom as a few years back.

Oh dear!! This made me laugh (through the tears of frustration at what they have done to this potentially epic storyline)

The black hole saw all our hopes and dreams in this storyline thrive. Then the show brought the guys back on screen, and killed all those hopes and dreams!! Hahaha

We can only hope that the storyline can still turn out to be good, but since I don't trust TPTB (with very good reason), I am inclined to think we have something more similar to McHay than to McDean (quality-wise) in our hands. Time will tell. At least we know the actors will be good in any case, and I think James' development will be good!

I was rewatching yesterday's scenes, and I was thinking... while it absolutely was not JP's place to talk to Nathan, and even less to tell him about Mac, I'm glad he did. James' family need to know, and I doubt James would have spoken anytime soon, he is not in that mind-set, at least not yet.

Also, aww, James and JP were playing backgammon... bless them, they are so old! <3

I found thier scenes quite powerful tonight. I did feel for JP when James called him a professional victim. However it is something James would say, especially given how angry he was.

I hope JP does not take James back. We really need to see the end of doormat JP. I'd like to see James grovel a bit.

That would be good, but since it's been established abundantly that JP is a doormat with no self-worth, I'm not sure James will have to work that hard. In half an episode JP will take him back, and he'll be the one doing the apologizing...
