I found thier scenes quite powerful tonight. I did feel for JP when James called him a professional victim. However it is something James would say, especially given how angry he was.

I hope JP does not take James back. We really need to see the end of doormat JP. I'd like to see James grovel a bit.
James' venon was completely in character and designed to hurt, which it did. I'm so proud of JP for saying he would leave and not come back if James cheated.

If they have JP stick to his guns, with James properly contrite and trying hard to win him back, I'll be pleased!

JP has been so hurt over the years, his confidence is totally battered. I think it makes sense character-wise that he's the way he is. He deserves love, poor guy!

Do we think James will go through with sleeping with the rando?

I'd imagine so. Does feel they got them together so could create drama by splitting them up and leaving James with even less people to turn to...then again this is hollyoaks so who knows prob all be forgotten

Nathan though grrr.

The worst things was when James said he wasn't like JP 'a professional victim' Ouch. Even after that he was waiting for James. 'Don't punish me'. What I like is the writers are true to their characters. 'I don't do sympathy.'' JP is all sympathy and James doesn't want his rock like exterior to be broken down because that would make him so vulnerable.

I hope JP doesn't go back on what he said because then James's will realise what it feels like to lose that support that JP offers.

They could have least shown them get back together, a kiss or a conversation... something...it wouldn't have been so difficult! The way they handled this is bloody annoying.

I think he will but will feel guilty about it. I think he'll try and talk John Paul round only to be rejected and rightly so. I think the spoiler about JP suggesting counselling is his way of saying names needs to get his head sorted before they can be together.

Yeah!!! Went from not really talking except to say what happened with Mac to surprise together!! They either do well at building up a story or rush things completly..guessing the build up isn't their main focus just the aftermath of breaking up

I have to be honest. I'm finding Nathan a sanctimonious tit these days and it not just down to how he's treating my favourite character. It's just him bring mr perfect constantly chastising others. I know he's meant to be a nice guy and its this that's always made me like him but lately he's coming across all holior than thou. Tonight when he was having a go at Cindy and marnie, I just wanted to wollop him one. When characters become saint like, they just get irritating. I hope he snaps out of it because generally, he's ok.

I just saw Nathan as confused. I didn't watch when the family arrived but they were apart for years. He isn't close enough to him to believe him so asked his mum. We know what she is like and most people implicitly believe in their parents.

Io don't mind about the boyfriend bit as they have slept together and told each other they care. Plus James keeps acting impulsively. He wants to care for JP then doesn't after a word from mum and sleeps with someone to punish JP for one slip up. JP must know that this erratic behaviour will continue if James doesn't get help. Just imagine how many arguments a couple might have in a relationship and everytime a partner cheats out of pique. That relationship won't last long.

That and he's made out that John Paul has been making things up and spreading rumours. Understandable why he said that but still

Yeah! Don't think be a kiss and make up job or anything. ..hope not anyway.Needs to help himself before he'll help him sort of thing

I hope that as this storyline picks up someone will start uploading the E4 episodes...I'm not used to having to wait til the following day to watch. More or less I have always been able to follow all the storylines quite easily, this is the one I'm having more difficulties with. It sucks to always be behind everyone else...

Sorry for complaining about this over and over again, but it sucks. Sigh.

Anyway, did the guys have decent screen time tonight, or was it just the usual 3 minutes?

Ugh. What does TPTB have against giving ths storyline and these characters actual screen time and attention? Jesus. It's always 3 episodes (with 10 minutes of screen time in total), followed by a 3 week blackhole, rinse and repeat.

There should have been more questions from Nathan and trying to talk to his brother alone

Hopefully it won't be too long. We know that Linda Grey has filmed her scene weeks ago so I'm expecting a full week of McNight in November at the very least

I thought they has decent screen time tonight. The Sonia/Lisa storyline dominated but I didn't feel that JP and James were neglected.

Good to hear that.

I guess tomorrow morning I'll get up 5 minutes earlier to try and watch it on my phone before going to work.... the McNight angst is just what I need to set the right mood for the day LOL
